The method includes receiving, from a terminal, a first message requesting the health information; measuring a body condition, in response the first message; and transmitting, to the terminal, a second message including the health information by using human body communication, the health information being based on the measured body condition.

An apparatus and a method for reducing wireless data transmission in a personal area network is configured to generate and transmit a packet including information discriminating between a synchronous channel and a data channel. The apparatus and method discriminate between the synchronous channel and data channel when receiving a packet in order to improve data transmission performance of a human body communication system. The apparatus and the method use a transmission channel whose frequency is lower than an antenna frequency as a synchronous channel, and use a transmission channel whose frequency is higher than the antenna frequency as a data channel.

The present invention proposes a method for transmitting data considering a non-contact state of a human body, while selecting a central frequency in various ranges in the human body communication system. Disclosed herein is an apparatus for receiving a wide-band pulse signal in a communication channel using a human body. When a weak wide-band pulse signal, which is output from a communication channel using a human body as a data transmission medium, is restored to a digital signal, it is possible to accomplish low power consumption and high data transmission rate using a wide-band symmetrical triggering technology using 50-&#x3a9; impedance matching, wide-band amplification and symmetrical threshold voltages. In addition, since only a single signal electrode is used, it is possible to provide an apparatus having usability, wearability and miniaturization. In addition, it is possible to remove necessities of an external reference voltage to reduce area consumption and to simply adjust a feedback resistor to easily adjust the reception sensitivity according to a communication distance.

Apparatus for receiving wide-band pulse signal in communication channel using human body

An apparatus for stabilizing a boosted voltage includes a voltage detector, a buffer driver control unit and a buffer driver. The voltage detector detects a change in a level of a boosted voltage and outputs first through N-th detection signals corresponding to the detected change, the boosted voltage being generated to have a higher voltage level than a power supply voltage level in response to a clock signal. The buffer driver control unit generates first through 2N-th current control signals based on the first through N-th detection signals. The buffer driver includes first through N-th inverter drivers that selectively operate based on the first through 2N-th current control signals, thereby modulating a charging current for generating the boosted voltage. Hence, the boosted voltage having a constant level and a reduced ripple may be generated.
