Disclosed are a deep body spread microwave hyperthermia device for personal uses and an operation method thereof. The operating method may include generating a control signal to control patches attached to the skin of a user, dividing the control signal into a first signal and a second signal having a phase different from a phase of the first signal, transmitting the first signal and the second signal to patches attached to different positions, among the patches, and producing hyperthermia in a body of the user by radiating radio waves based on the first signal or the second signal received by each of the patches.

Deep body spread microwave hyperthermia device for personal uses and operating method thereof

Provided is a device for microwave hyperthermia that may attach a flexible patch on the skin of a user based on a cross-section of a body tissue of the user, for example, a joint and muscle of a leg and an arm and may emit microwaves towards a plurality of points of the body tissue through the patch. The microwaves emitted toward the body tissue may have the same phase and maximum power. Accordingly, a maximum heat generation point may be generated in an area adjacent to the plurality of points. The device for microwave hyperthermia may move the maximum heat generation point by sequentially changing a phase and a direction of each of the microwaves. The device for microwave hyperthermia may uniformly distribute and maintain heat for treating pain and/or infection over the entire cross-section or a partial area. The device for microwave hyperthermia may be portable.

A phase measurement method in a microwave tomography system may include transmitting a first Tx frequency signal, receiving a signal corresponding to the first Tx frequency signal, and measuring a first phase value; transmitting a second Tx frequency signal separated by a predetermined discrete frequency from the first Tx frequency signal, receiving a signal corresponding to the second Tx frequency signal, and measuring a second phase value; calculating a first phase difference based on a difference between the first and second phase values; calculating a second phase difference based on the discrete frequency; and determining an unwrapped phase value through comparison between the first and second phase differences.

Phase measurement device and method in microwave tomography system

A method for reconstructing a dielectric image using electromagnetic waves, comprising: acquiring a measurement value of the electromagnetic waves; generating a matching system matrixes between the meshes; generating a smoothed dyadic Green's function matrix; generating an electromagnetic wave calculation value; calculating a misfit error between the acquired electromagnetic wave measurement value and the generated electromagnetic wave calculation value, and checking whether a change of the calculated misfit error satisfies a predetermined optimization determination condition; updating dielectric parameters at the meshes; and outputting a reconstructed dielectric image in the image reconstruction region.

Method and apparatus for reconstructing dielectric image using electromagnetic waves

Disclosed is an electro-magnetic tomography including: a modulator configured to modulate a generated transmit reference signal using a pseudo-noise signal; a transmitter configured to transmit the signal modulated by the modulator; a receiver configured to receive a signal transmitted from a transmitter; an amplitude detector configured to compare an amplitude magnitude between the signal received by the receiver and the transmit reference signal to measure a received amplitude; and a demodulator configured to demodulate the signal received by the receiver using the pseudo-noise signal to generate a cyclic signal, compare a phase between the transmit reference signal and the cyclic signal to measure the phase of the cyclic signal, and determine the phase of the received signal based on the phase of the measured cyclic signal.

Electro-magnetic tomography using modulated signal

Disclosed is an image reconfiguration method for electro-magnetic tomography. The image reconfiguration method for electro-magnetic tomography includes: measuring electric field values of each electro-magnetic wave for normal tissue, benign tumor tissue, and cancer tissue that are body tissue properties to perform signal processing on the electric field values of the electro-magnetic waves; calculating the electric field values of the electro-magnetic waves that are subjected to the signal processing as specific image reconfiguration data values; and comparing with the calculated specific image reconfiguration data value and applying to a nonlinear image transform function to convert into amplified image output data value, thereby outputting an image based on the image output data value, wherein the nonlinear image transform function is an exponential function or log function based nonlinear image transform function that selectively amplifies only a difference in the specific image reconfiguration data values between the body tissues.

Image reconfiguration method for electro-magnetic tomography

The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a solid body having a superhydrophobic surface structure formed by using a surface treatment of a metal body, a replication process, and a polymer sticking phenomenon to increase efficiency of fluid transfer and prevent foreign materials from being accumulated in the tube, and a superhydrophobic fluid transfer tube using the method. The superhydrophobic fluid transfer tube includes a fluid guider and a solid body provided on a fluid contact surface of the fluid guider and has micrometer-scaled unevenness and nanometer-scaled protrusions. In the method, a plurality of nanometer-scaled holes are formed on a surface of a metal body through an anodizing process, a replica is formed by immersing the metal body provided with the nanometer-scaled holes in a non-wetting polymer material and solidifying the non-wetting polymer material, the solid body having the superhydrophobic surface is formed by removing the metal body and an anode oxide from the replica, and the solid body is provided to a fluid contact surface of a fluid guider for guiding a fluid.

Provided is an antenna system for tracking a satellite which includes a fixed body and a rotating body. The antenna system includes a transmitting/receiving unit having a transmitting channel and a receiving channel for signal power, a driving unit for enabling mechanical motion of the rotating body for satellite tracking, and a control unit for monitoring and controlling the operation of the driving unit. Accordingly, the various kinds of the components of the antenna system mounted and operated on the movable body can be minimized and the output of the transmitted signal required in the antenna system can be simply replaced, thereby simplifying the configuration of the system and reducing the production cost of the system. In addition, the STR having the tracking signal processing function in the digital mode as well as the general analog mode is mounted on the antenna system, thereby improving accuracy of satellite tracking. Moreover, the posture of the antenna system can be stably maintained regardless of the motion of the movable body in the moving environment by using the driving unit and the control unit which are designed for stably controlling the elevation, azimuth and antenna rotating angle, thereby improving communication performance that is the intrinsic object of the antenna system.

The apparatus for correcting a phase of a phased array antenna for receiving a radio signal, includes a phased array antenna for receiving radio signals from a reference antenna and combining power of the received radio signals, a power dividing unit for dividing the combined power of the received radio signals, a voltage detecting unit for detecting voltage values of the divided radio signals, and a phase controlling unit for estimating a phase error that makes the detected voltage value maximum and controlling a phase of each radiation element of the phased array antenna using the estimated phase error.

Provided is an apparatus and method for estimating sensor signals to stabilize a posture of a mobile satellite tracking antenna. The conical scanning antenna system includes: a main reflecting unit; a sub-reflecting unit which is disposed apart from the main reflecting unit by a predetermined distance and performing a conical scanning tracking by using the nutation method; and a feeding horn which doubly reflects electromagnetic wave inputted and radiated by the main reflecting unit and the sub-reflecting unit and inputs and outputs the electromagnetic wave by electrically steering beams.
