To provide a content provision service to a user in conjunction with an end terminal and a P2P management server, a request for content is received based on a content name input from a user. It is checked whether the content corresponding to the content name is stored or not, and if the content is not stored, the content name is transmitted to the P2P management server to request content location information. Upon receiving the content location information from the P2P management server, a request for the content is sent to an adjacent content providing device listed in the content location information. Then, the content is received from the adjacent content providing device and provided to the user.

Mobile P2P system includes mobile tracker node and super peer node. A system and method for handing off from a first network to a second network. A determination may be made as to whether an accessible base station of the second network is located in the vicinity of a user equipment based on information on a current location of the user equipment in the first network. An activation call may be generated with a first telephone number as a caller number when an accessible base station of the second network is located in the vicinity of the user equipment based on the determination result. The activation call indicates an initiation of a search for an accessible base station of the second network, and an accessible base station of the second network may be searched for when the activation call with the first telephone number is received. A two-factor authenticated key exchange method. A subscriber station transmits a value generated by using an identifier and an authentication server's public key to the authentication server through an access point. The authentication server uses the value to detect the subscriber's password, a key stored in a token, and the authentication server's secret key, generate a random number. The subscriber station uses the random number, password, and the key to transmit an encrypted value and the subscriber's authenticator to the authentication server. The authentication server establishes a second value generated by using the password, key, and random number to be a decrypted key to decrypt the encrypted value, authenticate the subscriber's authenticator, and transmits the authentication server's authenticator to the subscriber station. The subscriber station authenticates the authentication server's authenticator by using the key and password.

Provided is a link synchronization method for a radio frequency repeater that can perform link route switching at an accurate time point by measuring reception signal power at a predetermined period for a predetermined time duration, accumulating and comparing them with a reference level, and detecting a link termination time point. The method includes: a) setting up an initial link route; b) measuring received signal power in the initial link route; c) accumulating the reception signal power received for a predetermined time at a predetermined period, when the reception signal power is detected; d) setting up a reference level for link switching based on the accumulated reception signal power; e) detecting a link termination time point by finding an edge in a waveform of the accumulated reception signal power based on the reference level; and f) switching the current link route based on the detected link termination time point.

An adaptive feedback estimation and cancellation (AFEC) apparatus includes: a controller for generating and outputting control information by using a synchronization signal from an external synchronization acquisition unit and base station information, in order to remove a feedback signal that exists in a forward/reverse repeater signal to be repeated and then send the forward/reverse repeater signal; a first feedback prediction canceller for adaptively removing a feedback signal that exists in the forward repeater signal based on the control information from the controller and automatically adjusting the gain of the forward repeater signal; and a second feedback prediction canceller for adaptively removing a feedback signal that exists in the reverse repeater signal based on the control information from the controller and automatically controlling the gain of the reverse repeater signal.
