An apparatus and method of cooling an image projecting apparatus. The image projecting apparatus includes a main body frame, at least one heat generating unit, a heat dispersion part, at least one heat transfer member, and a single cooling fan, where the first side of the at least one heat transfer member is connected to the at least one heat generating unit, and a second side of the at least one heat transfer member is connected to the heat dispersion part.

Projector

A display apparatus includes a front casing and a rear casing, a CRT coupled to the front casing and mounted with a degaussing coil, and a main board disposed adjacent to the CRT to transmit electrical signals to the CRT. A base frame receives therein the main board. A frame supporting part, which is positioned in a rear part of the front casing, supports the base frame so as to have an upward angle of inclination in a backward direction. With this configuration, a display apparatus has a visual volume that is reduced to a minimum and the assembly is prevented from tipping forward in the assembling processes.

An image projection apparatus includes a lamp, an optical modulator which modulates light emitted from the lamp to correspond to image data, a ballast which operates the lamp, a power supply unit, and a duct in which the power supply unit, the ballast, and the lamp are accommodated. The duct includes a first absorption hole and a main exhaust hole that communicate with an outside, and forms an air-flow path on which the first absorption hole, the power supply unit, the ballast, the lamp, and the main exhaust hole are disposed.

A monitor housing has a front casing connected with a rear casing enclosing a cathode ray tube. The front casing has at least one snap portion at an upper rear surface of the same and at least one engaging pin at a lower rear surface. The rear casing has at least one engaging portion at an upper front surface for being detachable engaged with the front casing. At least one receiving hole is formed at a lower portion of the front surface, so that the rear casing is integrally engaged with the front casing in such a manner that the receiving hole is separately engaged to the engaging pin, and a snap pin engaged in the receiving hole for preventing the engaging pin from detaching from the receiving hole in the case that the engaging pin of the front casing is integrally engaged into the receiving hole of the rear casing for thereby significantly decreasing an assembling time with an easier assembling and disassembling operation of a front casing and a rear casing and enhancing an engaged state of the monitor.

A display apparatus having an LCD panel, a front cover covering a front edge of the LCD panel, a panel supporting member connected to the front cover, with the LCD panel being disposed therebetween, and a rear cover disposed in back of the panel supporting member and connected to the front cover. The display also includes a first snap pin protruding from the rear of the front cover and having a first projection holder, a reinforcing member formed with an opening and having a projection engaging with the first projection holder of the first snap pin, and a flange part formed on the panel supporting member and having a first projection engaging with the opening of the reinforcing member. With this configuration, a display apparatus can be assembled or disassembled in relatively short time, has a slim and compact appearance, and has an improved EMI shielding effect.

Display apparatus having snap pin reinforcing member fastening mechanism

A heat shielding plate is employed in a cathode ray tube (CRT) of a monitor which includes a front casing to which the CRT is integrally engaged, a rear cover integrally engaged with a rear surface of the front casing, and a printed circuit board (PCB) engaged to a lower portion of the front casing and mounted at a certain distance below the CRT. The heat shielding plate is mounted between the PCB and the CRT for preventing heat generated in the PCB from being transferred to the CRT, and for preventing any arc generated in the CRT from being transferred to the PCB. The display quality of the monitor is enhanced by shielding the CRT from heat generated in a PCB so as to prevent expansion of a mask in the CRT. The shield is also capable of preventing an arc generated in the CRT from being transferred to the PCB and damaging the PCB.
