A display device includes a display panel, a mold frame, and graphite sheets. The mold frame includes a mold slot portion therethrough to support the display panel. The graphite sheets include a central portion on a rear surface of the display panel, and end portions passing through the mold slot portion to be on the rear surface of the mold frame. The graphite sheet is rolled and arranged in a mounting space between the display panel and a back cover, such that heat generated from the display panel may be dissipated to the outside via the graphite sheet and the back cover.

Display device

A curved display device includes a display panel having a curved shape and including a display area having a curved surface and a backlight assembly providing a light to the display panel. The backlight assembly includes a plurality of light sources, a printed circuit board on which the light sources are mounted, and a light guiding plate. The light guiding plate has a curved shape and guides the light provided from the light sources to the display panel. The light sources are sequentially arranged along the curved direction of the light guiding plate, and a longitudinal direction of at least one of the light sources is different from a longitudinal direction of the other light sources.

A backlight unit is disposed at a lower side of the display panel. The backlight unit includes a light guiding plate bent along the bending axis. The backlight units include a back surface facing the exit surface, and a plurality of connection sides connecting the exit surface with the back surface. At least one of the connection sides defines an incident surface. A circuit board is bent along the bending axis. A plurality of light emission units are electrically connected to the circuit board. The plurality of light emission units emits light to the incident surface. The bending axis is parallel to the incident surface.

A display device includes a display panel including a first pixel, a second pixel, a third pixel, and a fourth pixel, and a backlight unit including a first light source emitting a first light and a second light source emitting a second light, the first, second, third, and fourth pixels including respective light control layers and including respective light converting units, the light converting units respectively receiving the first light from the backlight unit through the light control layers of the first, second, and third pixels and converting the received first light into light having different wavelengths, the fourth pixel including a light transmitting unit receiving the second light from the backlight unit through the light control layer of the fourth pixel and transmitting the received second light therethrough.
