A rechargeable battery including an electrode assembly including a first electrode and a second electrode; a case accommodating the electrode assembly; a cap assembly coupled with the case, the cap assembly including a terminal; a first current collecting member, the first current collecting member including a fuse portion connecting the terminal with the first electrode, and an electrode bonding portion fixed to the electrode assembly, the fuse portion having a lower melting point than other portions of the first current collecting member; and a current distribution member fixed to the first current collecting member, the current distribution member electrically connecting the first current collecting member with the case.

A secondary battery includes an electrode assembly, a case that accommodates the electrode assembly, a cap plate that seals the case, an electrode terminal assembled to penetrate through the cap plate, and a short-circuit inducing member that is fixed to a top surface of the cap plate, the short-circuit inducing member being displaceable according to a deformation of the cap plate to induce a short-circuit by contact with the electrode terminal.

Secondary battery

A rechargeable battery is disclosed. In one aspect, the battery includes an electrode assembly having an uncoated region, a case accommodating the electrode assembly therein and an insulation plate disposed on the uncoated region of the electrode assembly. The battery also includes a gasket formed on the insulation plate, wherein the gasket comprises a support supported by and contacting an upper surface of the insulation plate, wherein the support comprises an inner side surface and an outer side surface, and wherein at least one of the inner and outer side surfaces forms an obtuse angle with respect to the upper surface of the insulation plate. The battery further includes a cap assembly contacting the gasket and connected to the uncoated region of the electrode assembly through a lead tab.

The present invention provides a cylindrical secondary electrode including a first electrode plate, a second electrode plate, a separator interposed between the first electrode plate and the second electrode plate, and a case having a space for receiving the electrode assembly, wherein the cylindrical secondary electrode may include a core element having a space at the center thereof and having a tubular shape with a circular cross section, which is inserted into a space at the center of an electrode assembly and has at least one slit including a bent portion.

Disclosed is a secondary battery. The secondary battery includes an electrode assembly including a first plate, a second plate, and a separator disposed between the first and second plates, a battery case accommodating the electrode assembly and an electrolyte, a cap assembly sealing an opening formed on one side of the battery case, and a gasket disposed between the cap assembly and the battery case. The battery case includes a crimping part formed on an upper portion of the battery case, and the crimping part is disposed on the gasket. A ratio of a second thickness of the gasket to a first thickness of the gasket is greater than 1.8 and is less than 4.8. The first thickness is a length between an internal surface of the battery case and an outermost edge of the cap assembly, and the second thickness is a length between the internal surface of the battery case and an outermost tip of the crimping part.

A rechargeable battery includes an electrode assembly; a can housing the electrode assembly and having an open end, a bottom surface substantially opposite to the open end, a first planar surface and a second planar surface, wherein the first planar surface and the second planar surface each have a first fracture portion that facilitates buckling of the can under compression, wherein a first axis is defined extending from the bottom surface to the open end, and wherein the first fracture portion extends along a second axis in a direction substantially perpendicular to the first axis; and a cap plate sealing the open end of the can.

The frit sealing system, adhering the first substrate and the second substrate by using the frit, includes: a bed member on which the first substrate is placed; a laser irradiation member irradiating a laser to the frit between the first substrate and the second substrate; and a pressure member disposed on an upper part of the first substrate and the second substrate irradiated with the laser and adhered, thereby pressurizing the first substrate and the second substrate irradiated with the laser and adhered.

Frit sealing system and method of manufacturing organic light emitting display device

A rechargeable battery including an electrode assembly, a case, a cap assembly, and a core. The electrode assembly includes an anode, a cathode, and a separator interposed between the anode and the cathode. The case has a space for housing the electrode assembly. The cap assembly is connected to the case and electrically connected to the electrode assembly. The core is disposed inside the electrode assembly, and has a distance between the exterior and the center thereof at one end in a length direction that is greater than a distance between the exterior and the center thereof at the center in the length direction.

An hermetic sealing apparatus is discussed. The apparatus may include one or more of the following a glass mask disposed on an upper surface of a first substrate, a support member disposed on an upper surface of the glass mask, a laser irradiation member positioned spaced on the upper surface of the glass mask, a plurality of lower support members disposed in a contour region of a lower surface of the second substrate, and pressing members disposed on a lower surface of the lower support members.
