The present invention relates to a three-dimensional cell culture container. A cell culture container according to the present invention may include: a barrier part composed of two or more pillars () provided on the top side of the lower plate; an upper plate () which finishes an opened end portion of the barrier part; and one or more cell sample injection guide parts () provided in one side of the upper plate. The present invention using such configurations can stably inject a sample including cells into an accurate position in a state that the sample leans on the guide parts, and the inlet guide may perform a barrier function such that a flow of the sample is directed toward the culture container, and the upper plate and the plurality of pillars facilitate an operation of an experimenter by performing a helping function such that an appropriate amount of sample is injected easily and uniformly, while the pillar parts spaced apart from one another at predetermined intervals enable a stable cell culturing process to be performed by performing a barrier function of preventing a gel-type sample from being discharged to the outside and performing a function of opening a space for exchanging materials with a medium in an external cell.

Three-dimensional cell culture container

A diagnostic kit includes: a diagnostic chip formed with a flow channel through which a diagnostic sample moves; a diagnostic sample movement regulation unit opening/closing one end of the flow channel to regulate movement of the diagnostic sample; an optical information detection unit detecting optical information on the diagnostic sample; and a controller controlling operation of the diagnostic sample movement regulation unit and the optical information detection unit, wherein the optical information detection unit includes: a light source illuminating the diagnostic sample; and a sensor sensing the optical information from the diagnostic sample, the diagnostic sample movement regulation unit is operatively associated with the optical information detection unit, and the diagnostic chip and the optical information detection unit are moved relative to each other upon operation of the diagnostic sample movement regulation unit.

Diagnostic kit and control method thereof

An apparatus for measuring fluid speed by using the refraction of light is disclosed. The apparatus includes: a channel in which a passage is formed to allow the flow of a fluid; a first and a second light source that are located in any one region of an upper part and a lower part of the channel; a sensor installed in an opposite region of the region where the first and second light sources are located with respect to the channel, to receive the light emitted from the first and second light sources; a speed calculation unit that calculates the speed of the fluid by using a time point at which the intensity of the light received at the sensor changes; and an adjustment unit that is connected to the channel and configured to adjust the flow speed of the fluid based on the calculated speed of the fluid.

An apparatus for measuring fluid speed by using the refraction of light is disclosed. The present invention relates to a cell culture assay. The present invention comprises: a substrate; a scaffold channel which is formed along the center inside the substrate, and of which at least one is disposed continuously, and inside which a scaffold flows; and a microfluidic channel or channels which is/are respectively formed on one side or on both sides of the scaffold channel, and inside which cells flow, and, here, a leak-preventing part for preventing the scaffold from leaking into the microfluidic channel(s) is formed in at least one of the ceiling surface and the floor surface of a boundary part of the scaffold channel and the microfluidic channel(s).

Cell culture assay

A method and device for processing channel quality information in a communication system is provided. A preset sampling range is determined to estimate a channel quality of a sub-frame in a quality measurement mode. The sampling rate is calculated based on the interval between samples in the channels of the sampling range. The samples are detected in the channels according to the sampling rate. The channel quality information is measured in the samples. A receiving apparatus can maintain the cannels for measuring the channel quality information, i.e., the number of samples, in a certain range. The receiving apparatus can reduce the number of samples, thereby reducing the time required for measuring the channel quality information by a preset measurement time interval. The receiving apparatus can increase the number of samples, thereby raising the accuracy of the channel quality information.

Method and device for processing channel quality information in communication system

Provided herein are microfluidic devices that can be used as a 3D bioassay, e.g., for drug screening, personalized medicine, tissue engineering, wound healing, and other applications. The device has a series of channels {e.g., small fluid channels) in a small polymer block wherein one or more of the channels can be filled with a biologically relevant gel, such as collagen, which is held in place by posts. As shown herein, when the device is plated with cells such as endothelial cells, new blood vessels grow in the gel, which is thick enough for the cells to grow in three dimensions. Other channels, e.g., fluid channels, allow drugs or biological material to be exposed to the 3D cell growth. Cells, such as endothelial cells, can be cultured and observed as they grow on the surface of a 3D gel scaffold, where e.g., rates of angiogenesis can be measured, as well as intervascularization and extravascularization of cancerous cells.

Three-dimensional microfluidic platforms and methods of use thereof

A device for counting micro particles is presented. The device comprises a light source; a chip containing micro particles; an object lens; a CCD camera; a counting part; and a shifter for shifting the position of the chip. It is easy to count the number of micro particles, such as red blood cells or somatic cells, by using the device. The shifter shifts the position of the chip by a predetermined distance at every predetermined time interval in order that a certain area adjacent to the area photographed just before is shifted to the point where the light is incident. Therefore, sub-areas on the chip are photographed successively. The counting part counts the number of micro particles in each sub-area, and adds them together to calculate the total number of micro particles in the samples.
