A pixel circuit is disclosed. The pixel circuit includes: a driving element including a first electrode connected to a first node, a gate electrode connected to a second node, and a second electrode connected to a third node; a light emitting element including an anode electrode connected to a fourth node and configured to be driven according to the current from the driving element; a first switch element configured to supply a data voltage to the second node; a second switch element configured to supply an initialization voltage to the first node; a third switch element configured to supply a reference voltage to the third node or the fourth node; a fourth switch element configured to supply a cathode voltage or the reference voltage to the third node or the fourth node; and a fifth switch element configured to supply a pixel driving voltage to the first node.

Pixel circuit and display device including the same

A pixel circuit and a display device including the same are disclosed. The pixel circuit includes a driving element including a first electrode connected to a first power line, a gate electrode connected to a first node, and a second electrode connected to a second node, a first switch element connected between a data line through which a first or second data voltage is applied and the first node, and supplies the first data voltage to the first node responsive to a first gate signal, a second switch element connected between the data line and the second node and supplies the second data voltage to the second node responsive to a second gate signal, a light-emitting element including an anode connected to the second node and a cathode connected to a second power line, and a capacitor connected between the first and second nodes.

A sensing circuit and a display device including the same are disclosed. The sensing circuit includes: a first external power line connected to a pixel power line applying a pixel driving voltage to pixels; a second external power line connected to the pixel power line; a first selection switch element connected between the first external power line and a voltage source; a current sensor connected to the second external power line; and a second selection switch element connected between the current sensor and the voltage source, wherein the first selection switch element is turned on responsive to a first signal to supply the pixel driving voltage to the first external power line during an image display period, and the second selection switch element is turned on responsive to the second signal and the current sensor measures a current flowing through the second external power line during a sensing period.

Sensing circuit and display device including the same

A gate driver according to an embodiment and a display device using the same are discussed. The gate driver can output a gate signal to a pixel circuit having a driving element connected between a first power line and a first node, a light-emitting element connected between the first node and a second power line, and a switching element connected between the first node and a third power line and driven by the gate signal. The gate driver includes a first circuit unit to receive a carry signal from a previous signal transmission unit to charge or discharge a first control node and a second control node, and a second circuit unit having a first buffer transistor and a second buffer transistor configured to output the gate signal based on a first clock signal and a first low potential voltage according to potentials of the first and second control nodes.
