A fabric for a horizontal belt filter includes a two-layer structure in which an upper-surface-side weft forming an upper-surface-side layer and a running-face-side weft forming a running-face-side layer are woven together by a warp. An upper-surface-side surface of the fabric includes a warp long crimp portion of a warp which passes over four or more continuous upper-surface-side wefts; and a warp latent portion which passes under one to four upper-surface-side wefts. At least a part of the warp latent portion passes under one or two running-face-side wefts to weave together the upper-surface-side layer and the running-face-side layer. The warp long crimp is formed on the upper-surface-side surface, and a weft long crimp is formed on a running-face-side surface. The fabric exhibits a good peeling property of a treated matter and which is superior in a cleaning property, rigidity, running stability, and wear resistance.

Fabric for horizontal belt filter

An industrial single-layer fabric having a concave-convex upper side surface and a lower side surface comprises warps, wefts and auxiliary wefts having a smaller diameter than the wefts. On the upper side surface in a repeating unit, at least two kinds of upper side knuckles are formed by each of the warps that passes over one weft and zero to two auxiliary wefts. On the lower side surface in the repeating unit, at least two kinds of lower side knuckles are formed by each of the warps that passes under one weft and zero to four auxiliary wefts. The wefts form a plain weave design by alternatively passing over one warp and passing under one warp.

Industrial single-layer fabric having concave-convex surface

The invention provides a cleaning method for removing dirt on an industrial belt and a cleaning belt used in the same. A cleaning belt having through-holes is provided onto an industrial belt. The cleaning belt comprises structural unit pieces in parallel to one another in a lengthwise direction. Each of the unit pieces is loosely interconnected and has a play such that the unit piece can move. The movement gives vibration onto the industrial belt when the cleaning belt is brought in contact with the surface of a running industrial belt. Then dirt on the industrial belt is removed through the through-holes.
