A projector includes a housing, an optical engine module, a light source, a system fan and a lamp cooling fan. The housing includes a air vent and an intake. The optical engine module is disposed in the housing. The light source is disposed on one end of the optical engine module for providing light. The light source includes a first side and a opposite second side opposite to the first side. The system fan is disposed adjacent to the first side for generating an airflow flowing from the first side toward the light source. The lamp cooling fan is disposed adjacent to the second side for generating an airflow flowing from the second side toward inside of the light source and the first side. The airflow generated by the lamp cooling fan mixes with the airflow generated by the system fan and then is exhausted through the air vent.

Projector and heat dissipating device thereof

A cooling system for a projector is provided and disposed in the projector. When a sensing temperature of the projector sensed by a thermal sensor of the cooling system is higher than a maximum temperature, a control module controls a fan to increase a rotation speed. When the sensing temperature of the projector sensed by the thermal sensor is lower than a minimum temperature, the control module controls the fan to decrease the rotation speed. As a result, the temperature of the projector is maintained within a proper range.

Cooling system

A projection apparatus comprises a housing and further comprises a light source, an imaging system, an optical engine, a first blower, and an axial fan installed in the housing, and an air outlet is disposed on the housing. The light source is installed adjacent to the air outlet. The optical engine is installed between the imaging system and the light source. The first blower is installed at one end far away from the air outlet, and an exhaust port of the first blower faces one portion of the light source. The axial fan is installed at one side of the light source installed the first blower, and the light source is positioned between the air outlet and the axial fan. An exhaust port of the axial fan faces the light source, and a suction port of the axial fan is adjacent to the suction port of the first blower.

Cooling structure for projection apparatus

A cooling air gathering plate for enhancing a cooling effect of a projector lamp is disclosed. The gathering plate has a notch to collect the cooling air at a lampwick, a welding point of the lamp, and/or any high temperature position of the lamp. A center line of the gathering plate matches together with an axis of the lamp. The gathering plate can be fixed on the lamp, a lamp reflector, or a holder for fixing the gathering plate to guide the cooling air passing through the high temperature position of the lamp.

A light cutter device. The device uses a fan to produce airflows flowing through a cylinder-like or core-like lamp reflector so as to form a wake region downstream of the lamp reflector. A front light cutter is placed on the wake region, and an upper light cutter and a lower light cutter are respectively installed at both sides of the lamp reflector. One end of the light cutters is mounted at a lamp housing by bolts, and the other end maintains a distance from the lamp reflector and extends to the back end of the lamp along the contour of the lamp reflector. The light cutters are able to shelter the bright light beam, emitting from the lamp, towards the outlet of airflows to not leak out of the projector and lead airflows to cool the lamp reflector. As a result, there is no need to install a decline guide on the airflows for sheltering the light so that the block o the airflow outlet decreases.

A light source cooling system having a double exhaust fan for a projector comprising: a light source formed with an interior region and an exterior region; a first exhaust fan; and a second exhaust fan, wherein the first exhaust fan and the second exhaust fan form two airstreams in the interior region and the exterior region respectively for cooperatively cooling the light source.
