Each of impeller grooves of an impeller has a first bow surface that extends from one end surface of the impeller so as to have a radius R, a second bow surface that extends from the other end surface of the impeller so as to have a radius r, and a projected partition wall having a connecting surface that connects the first and second bow surfaces. A pump cover and a pump base are provided adjacent to the respective end surfaces of the impeller, and are formed with respective annular feed passages that are defined by semicircular wall surfaces having radii Rand r, respectively. The radii Rand rof the first and second bow surfaces are set longer than the radii Rand rof the semicircular wall surfaces, respectively.

Circumferential flow pump

A fuel supply apparatus capable of following the positional variations of the bottom side of a fuel tank through a simple construction and improved in terms of ease of assembly in the fuel tank. The apparatus includes a fuel pump body in which a filter-integrated pump in which a fuel pump and a fuel filter are integrally formed is integrally accommodated in a fuel reservoir having a bottom capable of coming into abutment with a bottom side of the fuel tank, and causes the fuel pump body to travel to follow the variations of the bottom side of the fuel tank so as to be placed in abutment with the bottom side of the fuel tank, by means of an urging force generated on the basis of the pressure of the fuel inside the fuel pump body.

Fuel supply apparatus

An electromagnetic valve is constructed such that lengths of sealing portions, formed by a housing and a spool valve respectively between an input port and a feed-back chamber and between the feed-back chamber and a core , are unchanged upon movement of the spool valve; and aligning grooves and are respectively formed between the input port and the feed-back chamber and between the feed-back chamber and the core , whereby a smooth and stable pressure is constantly obtainable in response to an applied current even though a supplied pressure is high.
