A method of producing a suspended agricultural chemical composition, includes the steps of: grinding an agricultural chemical active ingredient; mixing at least water, a polyalcohol, a mineral salt, and a surfactant to produce a solution; adding to the solution the ground agricultural chemical active ingredient and a suspension stabilizer, to produce a mixture; heating the mixture to 40 to 70&#xb0; C. while stirring; cooling the heated mixture to 10 to 25&#xb0; C.; and wet-milling the cooled mixture at 30&#xb0; C. or below. Alternatively the method includes the steps of: grinding an agricultural chemical active ingredient; mixing at least water, a polyalcohol, a mineral salt, and a surfactant to produce a solution; adding to the solution the ground agricultural chemical active ingredient and a suspension stabilizer to produce a mixture; wet-milling the mixture; heating the wet-milled mixture to 40 to 70&#xb0; C. while stirring; and cooling the heated mixture.

Method of producing suspended agricultural chemical composition

The present invention provides a granulated pesticidal composition comprising a pesticidal active ingredient, a lignosulfonate surfactant with a degree of sulfonation of at least 2.0, and a sulfate or phosphate salt of a polyoxyalkylene arylphenyl ether. The composition is highly dispersible in water and allows stable long-term maintenance of its properties observed immediately after preparation.
