A device includes a first sealing member, a second sealing member, a first circuit member and a second circuit member. The first sealing member basically includes a first film formed with an opening and includes a frame film. At least one of the first circuit member and the second circuit member includes an exposed portion and a seal portion which surrounds the exposed portion. The frame film has a film-seal portion and a circuit-seal portion. The film-seal portion is bonded to the first film to surround the opening. The circuit-seal portion is bonded to the seal portion to surround the exposes portion. The device is formed with a closed space which is enclosed by the first sealing member and the second sealing member. The exposed portion is exposed to the outer space located outside the device.

A magnetic connector has a connector body including a magnet, a plurality of connection terminals that are arranged and fixed on the connector body so as to correspond to a plurality of contact patterns of a connection object, and a plurality of attracted members that are formed of magnetic substance, are arranged and fixed on a support member having a sheet-like shape and flexibility so as to correspond to the plurality of contact patterns of the connection object and are, via the connection object on which the plurality of contact patterns are arranged to face the plurality of connection terminals, attracted toward the connector body due to magnetic force whereby the plurality of contact patterns are pressed against the plurality of connection terminals and thereby connected to the plurality of connection terminals.

Magnetic connector

A contact member which is resistant to contact failure even if the environment of use is bad. A film is affixed to the surface of a long plate-shaped elastic body which is disposed between two to-be-connected objects. A electrically-conducting path which electrically connects between terminal portions of two to-be-connected objects is provided on the surface of the film. A first conductor contact portion which is capable of being brought into contact with the terminal portion of one of two to-be-connected objects is disposed at one end of the electrically-conducting path, and a second conductor contact portion which is capable of being brought into contact with the terminal portion of the other of two to-be-connected objects is disposed at the other end of the electrically-conducting path. A plurality of holes are formed in the first and second conductor contact portions.

Contact member and connector

The present invention provides a connector configured to electrically connect two connection objects. The connector comprises an elastic member having a surface and a conductive film placed on the surface of the elastic member. The conductive film comprises two contact portions to be brought into contact with the connection objects, respectively, and a connect portion connecting the contact portions. Each of the contact portions comprises projections and a drainage arranged, at least in part, between the projections.

The present invention provides a socket for an element with an element electrode. The socket comprises a base shell, a cover shell and a contact member. The cover shell is engaged with the base shell so that the base shell and the cover shell define a cavity. Each of the base shell and the cover shell is made of a high thermal-conductive material. The contact member comprises an elastic member and a contact electrode provided on the elastic member and are designed and arranged so that the element is mountable on the contact member within the cavity with the element electrode connected to the contact electrode.

A heat transfer member which is capable of enhancing efficiency of heat dissipation, and a connector including the heat transfer member. On the surface of an elastic body arranged between an LED and a heat sink, a heat conduction metal thin film that transfers heat generated in the LED to the heat sink is formed. The member may also include an electrical conduction metal film, whereby the member may serve as both a heat transfer member and as an electrical connector.

For achieving electrical connection by contact with a connection object, a connector includes a body portion including an elastic body. A conductive layer extends along a surface of the body portion and is adapted for contact with the connection object. The conductive layer has a plurality of projections projecting outward.

Connector connectable with low contact pressure

An electrical connector is disclosed. Connection targets have edges, respectively, on which conductive portions are formed. The electrical connector serves to electrically connect the conductive portions of connection targets with the edges facing each other. The electrical connector comprises an electrode sheet, a press member and a connection keeper. The electrode sheet comprises an insulation sheet and an electrode pattern formed on the insulation sheet. The press member is made of elastic material distinct from the electrode sheet. The press member is arranged to press the electrode pattern against the conductive portions of the connection targets when the press member is compressed, so that the conductive portions of the connection targets are connected to each other by the electrode pattern. The connection keeper is configured to keep the connection between the conductive portions of the connection targets with the press member compressed.

It comprises an electric conduction pattern member () which is flexible and plate-shaped, a gel member () having the electric conduction pattern member embedded therein, and flexible substrate sheets (15) holding the gel member therebetween, the electric conduction pattern member () having the function of allowing the gel member () to be deformed and displaced by an external bending force, the stress due to the external bending force being dispersed by the gel member ().

A connector provides electrical connection between an object () to be connected having contact portions () and a mating connection object () having mating contact portions (). The connection is achieved when the connector is in contact with the contact portions () and the mating contact portions (). The connector has a base member (), elastic members () provided on the base member, electrically conductive patterns () arranged on the base member so as to provide electrical connection between the front and back surfaces of the base member, and terminals () arranged on the elastic members () so as to be in contact with the contact portions () and the mating contact portions (). The terminals () and the conductive patterns () are connected to each other. Those portions of the base member () where either elastic members () or conductive patterns are provided are shaped in a mesh-like form.
