Provided a toner container having: a storage portion configured to store toner; a nozzle portion having a discharging port configured to discharge, outside the toner container, toner stored in the storage portion, the nozzle portion being fixed to the storage portion such that the nozzle portion and the storage portion are aligned in a first direction; and a loosening member configured to loose toner, the loosening member including at least a portion provided in the storage portion, wherein the loosening member is swingable relative to the storage portion about a swing axis extending in a second direction crossing the first direction.

Toner container

A cartridge includes a photosensitive member, a developing member for depositing toner onto the photosensitive member, and a coupling member capable of receiving a driving force for rotating the developing member. The cartridge also includes a movable portion movable between a driving force transmitting position for permitting transmission of the driving force from the coupling member to the developing member and a driving force interrupting position for interrupting the transmission of the driving force from the coupling member to the developing member. A holding portion is provided for holding the movable portion in the driving force interrupting position when the movable portion is in the driving force interrupting position. The movable portion is capable of taking the driving force transmitting position and the driving force interrupting position in a state where the developing member is in a position where the toner is capable of being deposited on the photosensitive member.

Cartridge and image forming apparatus

A seal member includes a seal surface that comes into contact with and slides with an end portion of an outer circumferential surface of a developing roller. The seal surface includes a first seal region configured of a plurality of first fiber bundles including a first fiber having a charge property that repels a developer, and a second seal region configured of a plurality of second fiber bundles including a second fiber having a charge property that attracts the developer, both extending in an inclined direction such that a portion thereof closer to an opening portion of a frame body of a developing unit is located further downstream in a rotating direction of the developing roller, and being alternately disposed in the rotating direction, and a proportion of a portion occupied by the second fiber bundles on the seal surface is at least 5% and not more than 60%.
