A digital camera is composed of a camera body and a lens unit removebly attached to the camera body. When the lens unit is attached to the camera body, the lens unit and camera body send and receive control signals by antennas and wireless I/Fs each disposed on the lens unit and the camera body, respectively. In addition, data of the image captured with the lens unit is sent to the camera body by serial drivers, each disposed on the lens unit and the camera body, through connection contacts that electrically connect the lens unit and the camera body. When the lens unit is detached from the camera body, on the other hand, the control signals are sent and received by the antennas and the wireless I/Fs, and the image data is sent by the wireless communication.

Digital camera

A projector comprises: a projector main frame having a memory for storing an image in form of data and a projection lens for projecting the image, in which the image stored in the memory is read and visualized, so that the visualized image is projected via the projection lens onto a screen; and a remote controller for performing a remote control of the projector main frame. The projector main frame has a remote controller mounting section for detachably mounting the remote controller at a position that the mounted remote controller covers the front of the projection lens of the projector main frame.

A digital still camera includes a camera main unit and a lens barrel fitted thereon in a removable manner. First electric contacts in a group are disposed on the camera main unit. Second electric contacts in a group are disposed on the lens barrel, for electric contact with the first electric contacts upon mounting of the lens barrel on the camera main unit, and for communication between those. The camera main unit includes a connector, having the first electric contacts, and coupled with a camera front face in an openable manner. The lens barrel includes a cavity, having the second electric contacts, for receiving insertion of the connector opened in a forward direction. The first electric contacts are disposed on a rear surface positioned internally when the connector is closed. Furthermore, a retaining mechanism retains the connector being inserted in the cavity.

A cellular phone has a black-and-white LCD that displays characters and communication information and a color LCD that displays an image. The image and the characters are displayed on the separate LCDs. Thus, the characters are not superimposed on the image, and they are easy to see. When the image is not needed (the user is not using the phone or the user is talking on the phone), only the black-and-white LCD displays the characters and the color LCD is turned off to save energy.

A heat sink is attached to a subject-side end portion of a barrel body of a lens barrel. The heat sink is provided with a large number of radiation fins formed in whorl. A heat pipe is disposed between the heat sink and a mount-side end portion of the barrel body. A CCD is fixed to the mount-side end portion of the barrel body. Heat of the CCD is transferred to the heat pipe via the mount-side end portion. Successively, the heat is efficiently transferred to the heat sink by the heat pipe. The heat having been transferred to the heat sink is efficiently radiated into the air by the whorl-like radiation fins regardless of conditions of the lens barrel.

A cellular phone is connected to a portable printer which uses an instant print film through connectors, and the printer prints an image according to image data stored in the cellular phone. The cellular phone can display the image to be printed on its LCD. The user can input information for the printing with push buttons of the cellular phone, and display the information on the LCD. Thus, the portable printer does not need an LCD and push buttons, and therefore the printer is small, light and inexpensive.

A shooting system of the present invention comprises a silver-salt camera unit shooting on a silver-salt photosensitized material, an electronic image pickup unit which is detachably combined with the silver-salt camera unit and in which a solid image pickup element is embedded, and a control unit which is combined with the electronic image pickup unit instead of the silver-salt camera unit.

In a printer incorporating thereinto a fuel cell for generating electricity upon receipt of supply of liquid fuel, an ink cartridge storing ink is mounted on a carriage, and the ink stored in the ink cartridge is ejected to a recording medium so that an image is recorded on the recording medium. The ink cartridge stores ink, and has a liquid fuel storage section that stores the liquid fuel, and a water storage section that stores water. The printer has: the fuel cell having a fuel electrode, an air electrode, and a solid-electrolyte film, in which the fuel electrode receives the liquid fuel and water is discharged through the air electrode; a fuel supplying path for supplying the liquid fuel stored in the liquid fuel storage section to the fuel electrode; and a water forwarding path for forwarding the water discharged from the air electrode to the water storage section.

A camera body of an instant camera is provided with four light sources LEDto LEDfor a display. The four light sources LEDto LEDflash on and off in mutually different display modes in accordance with the state of progress of a series of processing of an exposure operation, a developing operation and a delivery operation which is carried out in accordance with one time photographic operation. This feature makes it possible to exactly inform a user of the state of progress of a series of processing.

Instant camera and recording apparatus

When a lens unit is to be mounted, the lens unit is moved downward along guide grooves, whereby an opening portion cover is also pushed down counter to an elongation force of coil springs, the lens unit is mounted to a camera body, and the opening portion cover is moved to an open position. When the lens unit is to be removed, the lens unit is moved along the guide grooves, whereby engagement with the guide grooves is released. Because the opening cover portion is urged from the open position to a closed position by the coil spring at this time, the opening portion cover is moved with the lens unit along the guide grooves and fixed at the closed position.

Imaging device

In the present invention, by using a light-responsive component which can be used in photographing with a sensitivity thereof set to a sensitivity different from an indicated sensitivity, sensitivity information recorded at the light-responsive component by a photographing device can be read at a photo lab, and efficient printing operations can be carried out. While carrying out photographing on a film which can be used in photographing with a sensitivity thereof set to a sensitivity different from the indicated sensitivity in a camera, sensitivity information showing a set sensitivity at a time of photographing is recorded on the film. The film is developed at a photo lab, and the sensitivity information is read by a scanner component of an inputting machine. Printing is carried out by an outputting machine in accordance with the sensitivity information, and the sensitivity information is reflected in printed results.

Photographing system

A printer includes an LED light source for emitting illuminating light. An LCD panel displays an image, and emits printing light upon being illuminated with the illuminating light. An exposing optical system focuses the printing light on a photosensitive surface of an instant photo film unit. A movable mirror is disposed so that a movable panel lying on its rear constitutes one portion of a printer outer surface. The movable panel is movable between first and second positions, and protrudes from the printer outer surface when set in the first position, for the movable mirror to form a printing light path from the exposing optical system to the instant photo film unit. The movable panel is flush with the printer outer surface when set in the second position, for the movable mirror to prevent forming of the printing light path.

Printer in which photosensitive material is used

An optical printer module has a film pack compartment that stores a film pack which stores an instant print film in a frame composed of a main frame, a subframe and a cover. The frame contains a claw mechanism and a spread mechanism that includes a pair of spread rollers. The claw mechanism feeds the instant print film out of the film pack while the instant print film is being exposed, and the spread rollers pinch the exposed instant print film fed out of the film pack by the claw mechanism to develop the exposed instant print film and feed the developed instant print film from the optical printer module. The whole surface of the frame shades the film, except for an opening for the film pack.
