An automotive fuel hose comprising a two-ply rubber tube covered with a reinforcing fiber layer and further with a protective rubber layer. The two-ply rubber tube is constituted of a very thin inner layer of a fluorine rubber resistant to fuel, even to sour gasoline, and an outer layer of a synthetic rubber, such as epichlorohydrin rubber or ethylene-acrylic rubber, which is less resistant to sour gasoline but is superior in cold resistance. Both the inner and outer layers are formed by extrusion, preferably simultaneously.

Rubber hose for automotive fuel line

A fuel pressure regulator for use in a fuel injection system of a gasoline fueled engine, comprises a fuel distributor pipe having an inlet and a plurality of outlets connected to fuel injections, a casing secured to a portion of the fuel distributor pipe, a diaphragm member secured between the portion of the distributor pipe and the casing, and a fuel discharge nozzle disposed interiorly of the distributor pipe to discharge the fuel out of the distributor pipe, so that the possibility of fuel leakage in the piping of the fuel injection system is effectively decreased, rendering easier assembly of the fuel injection system and lowering the production cost of the same.

Fuel pressure regulator of fuel injection system

The casing of a fuel pump section having a motor-driven fuel pump is integrally formed with a damper which is provided with a damping chamber for damping fuel pressure pulsation. The damping chamber is communicable with the interior of the casing of the fuel pump section through apertures formed through the outer wall of the casing so that the damping chamber is supplied with fuel pressurized by the fuel pump. A resilient umbrella type check valve member is securely disposed to cover the apertures of the outer wall of the casing of the fuel pump section so that the fuel flows only in a direction from the interior of the casing to the damping chamber.///
