An ophthalmic laser treatment apparatus for generating plasma by focusing a treatment laser beam to treat a treatment target portion of a patient's eye with the plasma includes: an irradiation optical system configured to irradiate the treatment laser beam to the patient's eye; a position adjusting unit configured to adjust a focusing position of the treatment laser beam in an optical axis direction with respect to a predetermined focusing reference position; an energy adjusting unit configured to adjust irradiation energy of the treatment laser beam; a storage unit configured to store evaluation information to evaluate a permissible combination of the focusing position and the irradiation energy with respect to the focusing position; and an evaluation unit configured to evaluate a combination of the focusing position adjusted by the position adjusting unit and the irradiation energy adjusted by the energy adjusting unit based on the evaluation information.

Ophthalmic laser treatment apparatus

An ophthalmic laser treatment apparatus comprises: an observation optical system; first and second irradiation optical systems to irradiate first and second laser lights for treatment toward a patient's eye; and first and second guide optical systems to irradiate first and second guide lights toward the eye. The second irradiation optical system displaces a condensing position of the second laser light to either one of a position far from of a reference plane on which the observation optical system is focused and a position short of the reference plane, so that a spot size of the second laser light on the reference plane is increased to a larger size than a spot size of the first laser light on the reference plane. The first and second guide optical systems respectively condense the first and second guide lights on the reference plane.

An ophthalmic laser treatment apparatus includes: an aiming optical system configured to irradiate an aiming beam to a patient's eye; a laser irradiation optical system configured to irradiate a laser beam for treatment to the patient's eye; a shift unit configured to make a shift of a focus shift position corresponding to a focus position of the laser beam to a posterior or anterior position with respect to a focus position of the aiming beam; a selection receiving unit configured to receive an instruction to select any one of a plurality of treatment modes; and a control unit configured to control operations of the ophthalmic laser treatment apparatus. An ophthalmic laser treatment apparatus comprises: a main unit in which an illumination and observation optical system for illuminating a patient's eye and allowing observation of the patient's eye under illumination, and an irradiation optical system for irradiating a treatment laser beam and an aiming beam to the patient's eye; a joystick including a grip to be grasped by an operator, the joystick being configured to move the main unit with respect to the patient's eye; and a switch placed in an opening formed in a side of the joystick, the switch being configured to input a plurality of switch signals.

A medical system capable of giving different treatments in a row to a patient comprises a first treatment apparatus, a second treatment apparatus, an operation unit, a memory, a communication unit and a selection switch. The first treatment apparatus has a first treatment unit for a first treatment and a first control part which sends a control signal to the first treatment unit based on a first setting signal for the first treatment. Any one of the two groups of data is selectively read from the memory and displayed on the indication part, based on a mode-selection signal which has been inputted through the selection switch for selecting any one of a first-treatment mode and a second-treatment mode.

A laser treatment apparatus for irradiating an affected part of a patient with a treatment laser beam to treat the affected part is disclosed. A laser treatment apparatus for irradiating an affected area of a patient with a treatment laser beam is disclosed. In the apparatus, the treatment laser beam is emitted by a laser source and delivered to the affected area through a treatment laser beam irradiation optical system to irradiate the affected area. A laser treatment apparatus having a guide beam forming mechanism for guiding a treatment laser beam to a diseased part, including a laser beam irradiation optical system which irradiates the diseased part with the treatment laser beam, a target for obtaining a position of the central fovea of a patient's eye which is projected to the fundus, and a fixation mark for fixing the patient's eye so that the central fovea is located at a predetermined position with respect to the target. With the laser treatment apparatus, the central fovea of a patient's eye is easily judged, and, even for a patient's eye having reduced central visual acuity, the fixation is stably conducted.
