A terminal device includes a processor and a memory storing a program that, when executed by the processor, causes the terminal device to receive the broadcast information of a radio base station currently in communication with the terminal device, store location information included in the received broadcast information in a first storage part, and transmit the location information stored in the first storage part to a management apparatus connected to the radio base station through a network. The terminal device is caused to transmit the location information stored in the first storage part when the radio base station currently in communication with the terminal device is switched from a first radio base station to a second radio base station and location information is absent in the broadcast information of the second radio base station received by the terminal device.

Terminal device and communication method

The user mounts a distributed storage medium in his or her terminal unit, selects desired information from stored information, and notifies the host central computer through a network. The host computer generates key information for use in deciphering the selected information by combining the identifier of the selected information, user identification, etc. and sends the key information to a user terminal unit. The user deciphers the selected information according to the transmitted key information, and then accesses the information.

A terminal apparatus having a data processing circuit wherein a reset command, which is sent from another station through the same transmission line and according to the same procedure as normal data sent from the station, is detected, and then the data processing circuit is reset in accordance with the reset command.
