A vehicular seat including: a seat back; a temperature regulation unit which regulates temperature of an air blown from a surface of the seat back and has a heat exchanger; and an exhaust passage which exhaust waste air discharged from the heat exchanger toward the outside of the seat, wherein: the heat exchanger and the exhaust passage are disposed inside the seat back; the exhaust passage has an exhaust portion which opens toward the outside of the seat back; and the exhaust portion is provided on a side of the seat back so as to be oriented downward, the side facing a side wall of the vehicle.

Temperature controlled vehicular seat

A tip-up vehicle seat comprises a seat back () attached to a vehicle body, a seat bottom () displaceable between a retracted position and a available position, a leg member () displaceable between a retracted position and a support position, a lock mechanism () arranged to hold the seat bottom at the retracted position. The lock mechanism () is connected to the leg member () through a wire cable () so that the lock mechanism () is unlocked by rotational movement of the leg member () from the retracted position toward the support position to release the restriction to the seat bottom ().

Tip-up vehicle seat

When no child seat is attached to a folding adult seat of an automotive vehicle, the seat bottom of the adult seat is retained in a first locked state relative to the floor of the vehicle by means of a first locking mechanism alone. When an ISO-FIX child seat is attached to the adult seat, the seat bottom of the adult seat is retained in an additional locked state relative to the vehicle floor by a second locking mechanism that automatically locks the seat bottom by being operated on by part of the child seat as the child seat is moved toward and engaged with the seat. In this case, the second locking mechanism that is directly operated on by the attached child seat is constructed to perform a primary seat-bottom locking function to lock the seat bottom relative to the vehicle floor, while the first locking mechanism performs an auxiliary seat-bottom locking function. The first locking mechanism that is not directly operated on by the attached child seat may be constructed to have less rigidity than the second locking mechanism.

Locking device for folding seat

In a vehicular seat,A in which a link,which is rotatably fixed to a floor,is connected to a seat frame,at one end thereof for guiding the vehicular seat,A for movement from an in-use state to a received state and vice versa, a rotation restraining member,is provided in such a manner as to extend between the floor,and the seat frame,for restraining the vehicular seat,A, which has reached the received state from the in-use state, from further rotating about the link,by virtue of the action of inertia.

Vehicular seat

A vehicular seat includes an upper rail fixed to a seat cushion, a lower rail attached to a vehicle body side and slidably engagable with the upper rail so as to slide the seat cushion, an angle adjusting mechanism provided on a side of the seat cushion, for adjusting the angle of a seat back; and a cover attached to the angle adjusting mechanism. Folded portions are formed at ends of the cover for covering ends of the lower rail which are left protruding from the upper rail when the seat cushion is slid.
