A medium ejection device includes a lever that is movably disposed at the position of a pair of ejection rollers including a first roller and a second roller that nip and eject a medium and moves from one of the rollers to another of the rollers to push the medium, a lever position adjustment unit that moves the lever in a movement direction to adjust an advance position, and a motor that transmits power to the pair of ejection rollers. When turning forward, the motor rotates the pair of ejection rollers in the direction in which the medium is ejected. When turning backward, the motor transmits power to the lever position adjustment unit and moves the lever.

Medium ejection device and image reading device

A document transporting device includes a main body unit that forms an inner side of an inverting path, a cover unit that exposes a portion of the inverting path, a movable unit, a transport roller, a driven roller, and a roller supporting unit that forms an outer side of the inverting path. By receiving a force from the cover unit, the roller supporting unit rotates in a direction in which the driven roller moves away from the transport roller. By receiving a force from the roller supporting unit, the movable unit rotates in a direction in which the movable unit retreats from the main body unit.

Medium-transporting device and image reading apparatus

A scanner includes a reading unit that reads an image of a paper, a medium feeding portion that is capable of selecting a first feeding mode in which a separation feeding for separately feeding a paper bundle in which a plurality of sheets of paper is overlapped with each other is performed and a second feeding mode in which a non-separation feeding for collectively feeding the paper bundle without separating is performed, and a pair of first transporting rollers and a pair of second transporting rollers that transport the paper fed by the medium feeding portion, in a case in which the medium feeding portion feeds the paper in the second feeding mode, a first driven roller and a second driven roller respectively constituting the pair of first transporting rollers and the pair of second transporting rollers are driven in a rotation direction where the paper is transported.

Image reading apparatus

A scanner includes a reading section configured to read a medium being transported, a discharge roller pair configured to nip the medium read in the reading section by a first roller and a second roller and discharge the medium, and a rib disposed in a position overlapping the discharge roller pair in a medium transport direction, the rib protruding from the first roller side toward the second roller side out of the first roller and the second roller, the rib including a first rib disposed on one side in a width direction intersecting the medium transport direction with respect to the discharge roller pair and a second rib disposed on the opposite side of the first rib in the width direction with respect to the discharge roller pair.

An image reading apparatus includes a support section in contact with a mounting surface on which the apparatus is mounted, an apparatus body including a reader, the apparatus body, and a position holding section. The position of the apparatus body can be switched between a first position in which the apparatus body is not in use and a second position in which the apparatus body reads a document using the reader, and in which a projected area of the apparatus body on the mounting surface is larger than that in the first position, and the center of gravity of the apparatus body is lower than or equal to a rotation axis center of the apparatus body in a vertical direction viewed in a rotation axis direction of the apparatus body when the apparatus body is in the first position or in the second position.

A medium feeding device includes a housing, a medium feeding portion that is provided in an inner portion of the housing and delivers sheets of paper, a medium mounting member on which a medium is mounted, and a wireless communication portion that performs wireless communication with another communication terminal, in which the wireless communication portion is provided in the medium mounting member.

Medium feeding device and image reading apparatus

A liquid ejection apparatus includes a cover unit that is movable relative to a housing, an ink tank provided outside the housing in a state containing ink, a ink supplying tube in which ink can flow so that ink is supplied from the ink tank to the liquid ejection head, and an insertion hole that allows the ink supplying tube to be inserted into the housing, wherein the housing is formed by a housing portion in which a container that houses a stacker is formed to protrude, and a housing portion which has an operation panel having an inclined surface which protrudes at a position above the container, and the insertion hole is provided on at least one of the housing and the cover unit.

A liquid ejecting apparatus includes a main body in which an opening portion exposing at least a portion of a carriage moving area, a cover section displaceable with the main body, an ink tank that is located outside the main body, an ink supply tube for supplying ink from the ink tank to a head, and a spacer that forms a gap between the main body and the cover. An accommodation section is configured by a casing portion formed to protrude in a discharge direction of paper. An operation panel section is configured by a casing portion exhibiting an inclined surface. The spacer forms a gap having a size that does not shut off at least an ink flow path of the ink supply tube and passes the ink supply tube through the formed gap.

Liquid ejecting apparatus including a gap forming member having a locking member

A liquid ejecting apparatus includes a housing and a movement region of a carriage including a liquid ejecting head, an ink tank positioned at the outer side of the movement region of the carriage, an ink supply tubes connecting the ink tank and an adapter on the carriage, and a fixing portion fixing a portion of the ink supply tubes. In the housing, a containing unit of a sheet feeding cassette is formed to project to a discharge direction of a sheet and an operation panel unit is configured to have a housing portion having an inclined surface whose lower side further projects to the discharge direction than the upper side. The ink supply tubes have a deformable moving unit performing a movement of the carriage on a portion of a liquid ejecting head side rather than a fixing portion using a fixing tool.
