A display control device () is the display control device () that controls output of display data to a plurality of display units that are arranged on different surfaces of a case, comprising a posture detection unit (), a visibility state determination unit (), and a display data output unit (). The posture detection unit () detects a posture of the case. The visibility state determination unit () determines a display unit that is visually recognizable to the user from among the plurality of display units according to the posture of the case detected by the posture detection unit (). The display data output unit () outputs the display data to the display unit that the visibility state determination unit () determined as visually recognizable to the user.

A navigation apparatusincludes a current position information acquisition unit (a self-position acquisition unit) that acquires current position information, and a travel direction determination unit (for example, a route search unit) that determines a travel direction based on the acquired current position information and destination position information. An input apparatus (for example, a mobile terminal apparatus ()) includes a display unit () that displays a plurality of operation position displays (for example, operation position displays (to)); and a detection unit that contactlessly detects an operation which corresponds to an operation position set in a specific space of a front of the input apparatus in correspondence to each of the plurality of operation position displays. An electronic device includes: a plurality of oscillators () that output modulation waves of a parametric speaker; a display unit () that displays a plurality of contents at the same time; a recognition unit that recognizes the locations of a plurality of users; and a control unit that controls the oscillators () so as to reproduce sounds corresponding to the contents. The control unit controls the oscillators () so as to reproduce the sound corresponding to the content selected by each user, toward the location of each of the plurality of users which is recognized by the recognition unit.

A portable terminal device () includes a plurality of operation units (for example, a plurality of operation keys ()) that are operated by a user; a detection unit that detects which operation unit of the plurality of operation units is operated; and a directional speaker (for example, a parametric speaker ()). The portable terminal device () further includes an audio control unit that controls the directional speaker so that an audio image is formed at a position corresponding to the position of the operation unit operated by the user among the plurality of operation units.

Audio output device

In a terminal device, contents data from an attachment mounted on the device is received by a transmission/reception section and replayed by a first playback section. A detection section detects the mounting or removing of the attachment during the playback of the contents data. As an output destination for the contents data, a selection section selects the first playback section when the attachment has been mounted, or selects a first storage section when the attachment has been removed. In the attachment, the contents data is outputted to one of the first storage section and the first playback section based on the selection result of the terminal device. Accordingly, the usage mode of contents data can be readily changed with the mounting or removing of an attachment as a trigger.
