The present invention aims to provide an optical layered body that has excellent interlayer adhesiveness, particularly even in outdoor use, and also has highly excellent anti-blocking properties. The present invention relates to an optical layered body including: a substrate film; a hard coat layer containing silica fine particles on at least one surface of the substrate film; and a dry film layer on a surface of the hard coat layer opposite to the substrate film side surface of the hard coat layer, wherein the silica fine particles are exposed on the dry film layer side surface of the hard coat layer; the dry film layer is directly formed on the surface of the hard coat layer on which the silica fine particles are exposed; the hard coat layer before the formation of the dry film layer has projections and depressions on the surface on which the dry film layer is to be formed; the hard coat layer has an average silica fine particle abundance in ten 0.2 &#x3bc;m&#xd7;0.2 &#x3bc;m regions of 30 to 80% and a standard deviation of silica fine particle abundances in the 10 regions of 1 to 7, where the 10 regions are randomly selected from a cross section of the hard coat layer in the thickness direction within the range from the dry film layer side interface to 10% of the thickness in the thickness direction; and the hard coat layer has a silicon atom abundance A of 2 to 10% on the surface opposite to the substrate film side surface as determined by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.

The present invention discloses a composition for antistatic layer formation, which has realized antireflection and prevention of interference fringes. The composition for antistatic layer formation comprises electrically conductive fine particles, an ionizing radiation curing resin, and an organic solvent, the electrically conductive fine particles each comprising a core particle covered with an electrically conductive material, the refractive index of the core particle being lower than that of the electrically conductive material.

The anti-dazzling film comprises a transparent substrate film and an anti-dazzling layer provided on one side of the transparent substrate film. The anti-dazzling layer is a layer which has been formed from at least an ionizing radiation-curable resin and transparent fine particles. The transparent fine particles satisfy requirements represented by formulae (I) and (II): 2.0 &#x3bc;m&#x2266;d50%&#x2266;5.0 &#x3bc;m (I) and 0.5 &#x3bc;m&#x2266;(d84%&#x2212;d16%)/2&#x2266;1.2 &#x3bc;m (II) wherein d84% represents a particle diameter corresponding to a point of 84% in a cumulative curve of a particle size distribution assuming that the total weight of the transparent fine particles is 100%; d50% represents a particle diameter corresponding to a point of 50% in the cumulative curve of a particle size distribution; and d16% represents a particle diameter corresponding to a point of 16% in the cumulative curve of a particle size distribution.

The present invention provides an application material capable of forming a thin layer of high quality having controlled refractive index, a coating layer formed by using said application material, an antireflection coating using said coating layer, an antireflection film and image display to which said antireflection coating is applied. Provided is an electrophotographic photoreceptor which comprises an electrically conductive support and a photoconductive layer comprising at least an organic photoconductive compound and an alkali and/or alcohol soluble binder resin provided on said support and which is used for making a lithographic printing plate therefrom by electrophotographically forming a toner image and decoating the photoconductive layer of non-image portion other than the toner image portion by contacting with an alkaline decoating solution, wherein an arithmetical mean deviation of profile (Ra.sub.1) of the surface of said electrically conductive support having said photoconductive layer thereon is 0.3-1.0 .mu.m and a ratio of Ra.sub.2 /Ra.sub.1 of an arithmetical mean deviation of profile (Ra.sub.2) of the surface of said photoconductive layer and the (Ra.sub.1) is 0.5-1.0. The image formed on the printing plate is free from indentation at the edge of the image. Resolution and sharpness of the image are improved.
