The present invention provides a connector that has a function of enabling and facilitating a secure connection of an inserted substrate. A connector includes a housing, a contact point member, and a position determining member. The housing includes an insertion recessed portion into which a substrate is inserted. The contact point member includes a contact point portion connected electrically to a conductive portion of the substrate. The position determining member determines a position of the contact point member. The position is determined to connect the contact point portion to the conductive portion of the substrate and is driven by moving the contact point member to retract the contact point portion from the insertion recessed portion and inserting the substrate into the insertion recessed portion.

Connector

An electrical connection terminal capable of reducing manufacturing cost of a connector and a probe, and preventing erroneous contact between the connection terminal and a continuity check pin at the time of a continuity check, and a connector using the same. The connection terminal includes a fixed piece to be fixed to a base of the connector, a coupling portion extending upward from the fixed piece, and a movable piece extending from the coupling portion in the direction facing the fixed piece. The connection terminal arranged side by side in the base further includes an extending portion for the continuity check provided in an end of the fixed piece, and a projection for the continuity check provided at an upper side of the movable piece or the coupling portion. The continuity check may be provided by use of the probe with two rows of check pins.

Electrical connection terminal with continuity check portions and connector using same

The present invention provides a connector in which insertion of a substrate up to a proper position enables achievement of an electrical connection between the substrate and a contact point member. The connector includes a housing with an insertion recessed portion into which a substrate is to be inserted, a contact point member that includes a contact point portion which is installed in the housing, protrudes into an insertion recessed portion, and is electrically connected to a conductive portion of the substrate to be inserted, and position determining member which moves the contact point member, when the substrate is inserted into the insertion recessed portion of the housing, in such a manner that the contact point member is retracted from the insertion recessed portion and then protrudes into the insertion recessed portion to make an electrical connection to a conductive portion of the substrate.

A sensor controller system, comprising a plurality of sensors for producing detection signals, and a sensor controller for receiving outputs form said sensors and producing an evaluation signal for an external circuit. To detect any fault in the sensors, the outputs from the sensors are compared with certain standard values stored in the sensor controller so that any fault in any one of the sensors may be detected as a disagreement between actually obtained outputs from the sensors and the stored standard values. Optionally, a diagnostic signal may be used to simplify the comparing process. Because the states of the sensors may be centrally monitored and the standard outputs can be centrally modified, the versatility of the sensor system may be increased and the reliability of the sensor system may be improved.
