An endoscope has a configuration in which a wire guide tube is configured as a tube consecutively formed of polyetheretherketone from one end side to another end side, an opening penetrating is provided in a radial direction at part of a wall portion of a second coupling member into which an end part of the wire guide tube is inserted, a concave portion corresponding to the opening is provided at an outer peripheral surface of the end part of the wire guide tube, and a bonding agent integrally fills the opening and the concave portion to connect the wire guide tube and a coupling portion (the second coupling member).

A surface light source device includes a light source substrate in which a plurality of light sources capable of being driven independently of one another are disposed, a light guide plate provided on the light source substrate to emit, from a specific emission surface, light entered from the plurality of light sources, and a partition frame having a partition wall for dividing the light guide plate into a plurality of cells. The partition wall of the partition frame partially has cutout portions. The light guide plate is connected between adjacent cells through the cutout portions of the partition wall.

An envelope of a point light source includes first to fourth surfaces. The first surface protrudes ahead of a light-emitting element and extends to a left side and a right side of the light-emitting element when viewed from the light-emitting element. The second surface is connected to the first surface on the left side and the right side of the light-emitting element and is in contact with the light-emitting element. The third surface is connected to an upper end of the first surface and an upper end of the second surface and forms a first depression that sinks from the first surface toward the second surface. The fourth surface is connected to a lower end of the first surface and a lower end of the second surface and forms a second depression that sinks from the first surface toward the second surface.

Point light source, planar light source device, and display device

The present invention relates to an area light source device and a display device using the area light source device. The present invention includes a point light source, and a light guide plate. The light guide plate includes a protruding structure on a light entrance surface side. The protruding structure protrudes from a light exit surface side or a counter light exit surface side opposite from the light exit surface. The point light source includes an arrangement of point light sources. The protruding structure is configured such that oblique cylinders each having a semicircular upper surface protrude and arranged in a direction of the arrangement of the point light sources. The point light sources are arranged so that the lines of intersection of adjacent ones of the oblique cylinders coincide with the middles of the point light sources, respectively.

Area light source device and display device using same

A planar light source apparatus includes a point light source and a light guide plate shaped like a flat plate with a rectangular shape in a plan view. The light guide plate includes an output surface confronting an opening portion, a pair of second side surfaces opposed to each other, and a hole opening in a non-output surface and formed near one of the first side surfaces at a position where the point light source is to be arranged. Each of the pair of second side surfaces is at least partially configured as a prism whose ridge line extends in a direction perpendicular to the output surface and whose cross-section, when sectioned in a direction parallel to the output surface, has a sawtooth-like shape in which concavity and convexity are repeated. A light of the point light source can be efficiently uniformized in the light guide plate, and thus unevenness of brightness can be prevented.

Planar light source apparatus and display apparatus using same

A surface light source apparatus capable of keeping a high in-plane brightness uniformity and a high light utilization efficiency without increasing the size of a frame, and also to provide a display apparatus including the surface light source apparatus. The surface light source apparatus includes a point light source, and a light guide plate having a hole formed near first side surface that is one side surface thereof, the hole being formed at a position where the point light source is to be arranged. The first side surface of the light guide plate has, in a portion thereof near the hole, a prism having a saw-toothed shape in a cross-section thereof parallel to a front surface of the light guide plate.

Surface light source apparatus and display apparatus using same

The display apparatus of the present invention is a display apparatus for a head-up display, and is provided with a liquid crystal display which has a single display region including a first display region and a second display region, a half mirror which reflects first exit light exiting from the first display region of the liquid crystal display, and a plane mirror which reflects second exit light exiting from the second display region of the liquid crystal display toward the half mirror. The first exit light which has been reflected by the half mirror and the second exit light which has penetrated the half mirror are led out of the apparatus in an overlapping state.

Display apparatus and head-up display system having the same

A planar light source device with highly uniform intensity and high light utilization efficiency, and a display apparatus incorporating the same, are provided. A light guide plate, configured by a material such as plate-shaped and transparent acryl resin, polycarbonate resin, or glass, causes incident light to propagate within the light guide plate and then to exit the light through an exit surface as a surface emitting light. A first recess is formed substantially in the center of the exit surface. The first recess is cylinder-shaped, and on a bottom thereof is provided a lens that refracts incident light from a light source, in a direction away from the center of a circle on the bottom.

Planar light source device and display apparatus incorporating same

An image-capturing apparatus and a repair method thereof are provided. The image-capturing apparatus includes a lens frame to which one or more lenses are fixed; an image-capturing frame to which an image-capturing device is fixed; and a fixing member for fixing the lens frame and the image-capturing frame to each other without adhering a fitted portion between the lens frame and the image-capturing frame. The repair method for the image-capturing apparatus includes destructing a fixing member for fixing to each other a lens frame to which one or more lenses are fixed and an image-capturing frame to which an image-capturing device is fixed, and releasing fixing between the frames; replacing at least either of the lens frame and the image-capturing frame; and fixing to each other the lens frame and the image-capturing frame.

Electronic endoscope

It is an object of the invention to provide a technique capable of suppressing variations in luminance in the vicinity of a light entrance surface of a light guide plate. An illumination device includes a point light source, and a light guide plate having a side surface serving as a light entrance surface opposed to the point light source, and a main surface serving as a light exit surface. The light entrance surface of the light guide plate is provided with unevenness formed by arraying at predetermined pitches a plurality of protrusions each projecting from the light entrance surface and extending in a direction perpendicular to the light exit surface. Each of the top surface and the bottom surface of the unevenness is provided with a plurality of micro protrusions each extending in the direction perpendicular to the light exit surface and having a height smaller than the above protrusion.

Illumination device and liquid crystal display having a light guide plate with protrusions of multiple heights

An electronic endoscope apparatus includes: an image pickup apparatus mounted at a distal end portion of an insertion portion; an operation portion provided consecutively at the insertion portion, with a frame member incorporated therein; and an electrical cable extended from the operation portion for connection with an external device. In the electronic endoscope apparatus, the frame member has a circuit board portion which establishes electrical connection between shields of the insertion portion and the electrical cable, and on which various electronic parts for exchanging signals with the image pickup apparatus are mounted. In spite of the arrangement of the image pickup apparatus that can acquire high-quality images at a distal end portion of the insertion portion, a size of the apparatus, in particular, a diameter of the insertion portion, can be prevented from being increased.

Electronic endoscope apparatus

An image pickup apparatus of the present invention varies optical properties by moving a part of lenses of an objective lens, and includes a solid-state image pickup device unit that is disposed at a rear-end section and that subjects a subject image to photoelectric conversion, a fixed lens frame that retains the objective lens that is disposed in front of the solid-state image pickup device unit, a movable lens frame that retains the part of lenses that moves along a photographing optical axis O inside the lens frame, and an actuator having one end connected to the movable lens frame and that moves the movable lens frame forward and backward. The actuator includes a rigid member provided so as to extend to the vicinity of the rear end at which the solid-state image pickup device unit is disposed and a shape memory alloy that is coupled to the rigid member.

An endoscopic image pickup unit includes: a first fixed lens frame which holds a first objective lens group; a second fixed lens frame which, being fitted over the first fixed lens frame, holds a second objective lens group; a movable lens frame which, being installed in the second fixed lens frame so as to be able to move forward and backward along a photographic optical axis, holds a movable lens; and a deformation preventing member which, being interposed between a distal end body and the second fixed lens frame, prevents the second fixed lens frame from being deformed by fixing force of the fixing member when the endoscopic image pickup unit is fixed to the distal end body.

Endoscopic image pickup unit

An actuator apparatus of the present invention includes a movable body that is arranged so as to be movable forward or rearward, and a shape memory alloy wire that is provided directly or indirectly to the movable body so as to enter a non-tension state at an ordinary temperature. The shape memory alloy wire is subjected to expansion/contraction control in which an electric current is applied thereto from a power supply portion of an external control circuit portion to change a temperature thereof to a predetermined temperature.
