The disclosed battery includes a laminated body and a housing. The laminated body includes first and second main surfaces, and a side surface parallel to a first direction which is the laminating direction. The housing includes a first housing portion including a first plate-shaped portion facing the first main surface, and a first side wall portion facing the side surface, and a second housing portion including a second plate-shaped portion facing the second main surface, and a second side wall portion facing the side surface. The first and second side wall portions include first and second projecting regions, respectively. The first and second side wall portions do not overlap each other when viewed from a second direction perpendicular to the side surface. The first and second projecting regions at least partially overlap each other when viewed from a third direction perpendicular to the first direction and along the side surface.

A solid electrolyte composition of the present disclosure includes: a solid electrolyte material including an oxygen element and a halogen element; and an organic solvent. The organic solvent includes at least one selected from the group consisting of a halogen-group-containing compound and a hydrocarbon. The solid electrolyte material includes at least one selected from the group consisting of Zn, Sn, Al, Sc, Ga, Bi, Sb, Zr, Hf, Ti, Ta, Nb, W, Y, Gd, Tb, and Sm.

A positive-electrode material according to the present disclosure includes a positive-electrode active material and a coating layer covering the positive-electrode active material, wherein the coating layer contains niobium and carbon, the positive-electrode active material and the coating layer constitute a coated active material, and the ratio Nb/C of the niobium content to the carbon content in a surface layer portion of the coated active material is 0.11 or more based on the atomic ratio.

The present disclosure provides a negative electrode material that can improve the charge-discharge efficiency of a battery. A negative electrode material includes a reduced form of a first solid electrolyte material and a conductive auxiliary. The first solid electrolyte material is denoted by Formula (1): LiMX. Herein, in Formula (1), each of α, β, and γ is a value greater than 0, M represents at least one element selected from the group consisting of metal elements except Li and semimetals, and X represents at least one element selected from the group consisting of F, Cl, Br, and I.

Negative electrode material and battery

The present disclosure provides a negative electrode material that can improve the cycle characteristics of a battery. The negative electrode material according to the present disclosure contains a reduced form of a solid electrolyte material. The solid electrolyte material is denoted by Formula (1): LiMX. Herein, in Formula (1), each of α, β, and γ is a value greater than 0, M represents at least one element selected from the group consisting of metal dements except Li and semimetals, and X represents at least one dement selected from the group consisting of F, Cl, Br, and I.

Provided is a display panel having a plurality of pixels arranged in a matrix of rows and columns. Each of the pixels is composed of a plurality of first sub-pixels emitting light of different colors. The present invention is to provide an organic EL panel that is able to prevent the problems resulting from the unnecessary bank residues at a relatively low cost and has excellent light-emitting characteristics and a long life, and manufacturing method of the organic EL panel. Organic EL panel and manufacturing method thereof

An organic EL display panel offering improved luminance includes: a substrate; pixel electrodes arranged in rows and columns; an insulating film coating the confronting edges of pixel electrodes adjacent in a column direction; banks each elongated in the column direction over a gap between pixel electrodes adjacent in the row direction; a hole transport layer in a gap between the banks; an organic light-emitting layer over the hole transport layer; and a common electrode over the organic light-emitting layer. Light is emitted from a first light-emitting portion and second light-emitting portions of the light-emitting layer. The first light-emitting portion is a portion above the pixel electrodes excluding where the insulating film is disposed. Organic EL display panel

The present invention aims to provide organic EL elements operating at low voltage to emit light at high intensity. For this aim, each EL element includes an anode, a cathode, a functional layer disposed between the anode and the cathode and including a light-emitting layer composed of organic material, a hole injection layer disposed between the anode and the functional layer, and a bank defining the light-emitting layer. The hole injection layer contains tungsten oxide and exhibits: by UPS measurement, a UPS spectrum having a protrusion appearing near a Fermi surface and within a region corresponding to a binding energy range lower than the top of a valence band; and by XPS measurement, that the tungsten oxide in the hole injection layer satisfies a condition that a ratio in number density of atoms other than tungsten atoms and oxygen atoms to the tungsten atoms is equal to 0.83 or smaller.
