A connector configured to be fitted with a mating connector includes a main housing, a sub-housing supported on the main housing to be slidable in a fitting direction with respect to the main housing in which the connector is fitted with the mating connector, and an operating member pivotably and slidably supported on the main housing. The main housing moves closer to the mating connector when the operating member is pivoted from a first posture to a second posture. The sub-housing moves in the fitting direction when the operating member slides from the second posture in a direction different from the fitting direction. The sub-housing has an erroneous fitting prevention part abutting against the mating connector in a state of incomplete fitting of the connector with the mating connector.

Connector and connector assembly

An electrical connector comprises a first housing, a second housing, a lever adapted to couple the first housing and the second housing with each other, a first interlock member, a second interlock member, a first cam mechanism adapted to mate the first housing and the second housing with each other with movement of the lever in a first direction, and a second cam mechanism. The second interlock member is configured to be mated with the first interlock member to energize an electric circuit. The first cam mechanism limits a moving direction of the lever to a second direction after moving in the first direction. The second cam mechanism is adapted to convert the movement of the lever in the second direction into movement in a mating direction of the first housing and the second housing to mate the first interlock member with the second interlock member.

Electrical connector with mating interlock members

A fuse clip comprising a pair of first springs configured to support a fuse having a cylindrical body part from a radially outer side and a pair of second springs disposed side by side with the first springs in an axial direction of the fuse and configured to elastically support the fuse from the radially outer side. The first springs are configured to elastically support the cylindrical body part at a point of intersection between a horizontal line segment passing through a center of the cylindrical body part and an outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical body part or at a position higher than the point of intersection. The second springs are configured to elastically support the cylindrical body part at a higher position with respect to the point of intersection than the first springs elastically support the cylindrical body part.

Fuse clip and connector

An electrical connector comprises a first housing, a mating terminal retained in the first housing, a second housing mated with the first housing, a contact member disposed in the second housing, and an insertion/extraction assist protrusion. The contact member is electrically connected with the mating terminal by pinching the mating terminal with a plurality of spring pieces facing each other. The spring pieces each have a contact portion protruding inward. The insertion/extraction assist protrusion is adapted to expand a gap between the spring pieces when the first housing and the second housing move relative to one another in a mating direction. The insertion/extraction assist protrusion is arranged offset from the contact portions in a plane crossing the mating direction and is arranged nearer to a start point of the mating than the contact portions during the mating in the mating direction.

Electrical connector

A plug connector is detachably matable with a cap connector. The plug connector includes a lever performing mating with and unmating from the cap connector. The lever includes a cam groove for receiving a first boss of the cap connector, a boss rotation hole for receiving a second boss of an outer housing of the plug connector, and a catching protrusion sliding hole for receiving a catching protrusion of an inner housing of the plug connector. A first turning operation of the lever during unmating from a fully mated state extracts an interlock busbar of the plug connector from the cap connector to remove a short circuit of first conducting wires of the cap connector. A second turning operation of the lever during unmating moves a releasing protrusion into a clip spring of the plug connector to open the clip spring.

Lever actuated connector and connector assembly

A connector unit comprises a plurality of connector modules. Each connector module is coupled to an adjacent connector module in a first direction and is matable with a mating object in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction. Each connector module includes a holding portion holding a contact and a coupling portion positioned adjacent to the holding portion on an end side of the connector module in a third direction orthogonal to the first direction and the second direction. The coupling portion has a protrusion protruding toward the end side of the connector module, a concave part receiving the protrusion of the adjacent connector module, and a separation inhibiting part inhibiting separation of the protrusion of the adjacent connector module from the concave part. The connector modules coupled by the coupling portions are each displaceable in the first direction, the second direction, and the third direction.

Connector unit for mating with a cell stack of a fuel cell

A female contact and a mating structure in which the female contact mates with a male contact. The female contact has first and second elastic arms that are connected together. The first elastic arm has a first dummy contact point and a first actual contact point rearward of the first dummy contact point and has a smaller protrusion than the first dummy contact point. The second elastic arm has a second dummy contact point and a second actual contact point rearward of the second dummy contact point and has a smaller protrusion amount than the second dummy contact point.

Female contact and mating structure of contacts

A terminal member having a plurality of clamp members to electrically connect a plurality set of terminals. Each clamp member includes a pressing member and an insertion body. The terminal member includes a pressing member and an insertion body. The pressing member presses and electrically connects a pair of terminals facing each other. The insertion body presses the pressing member in a direction toward the pair of terminals when the pressing member and the pair of terminals are inserted into the insertion body.

Terminal member

A terminal member capable of connecting a motor and a motor control circuit unit to each other reliably and efficiently. The terminal member includes first and second terminals, a pressing member, an urging member and a holder. The first terminal and second terminals are positioned facing each other, while the pressing member is positioned above the second terminal. The pressing member presses and electrically connects the first terminal and the second terminal. The urging member is positioned above and abutting the pressing member such that the pressing member urges in a direction toward the first terminal. The holder includes a recess that secures the pressing member and the urging member.

A holding member, for an electronic component inserted into a through hole provided in an electronic circuit board which includes a plate-shaped base that is fixed to the electronic component, a first leg and a second leg. The first leg extends from the base, and is inserted into the through hole. The first leg has a catch that projects laterally and outwardly with respect to an inserting direction in which the first leg is inserted into the through hole and locked with an edge of the through hole after the first leg is inserted. The second leg extends from the base and is inserted into the through hole together with the first leg. The second leg elastically deforms when the second leg comes into contact with an inner surface of the through hole, presses the first leg to an opposite side inner surface of the through hole, and elastically holds the catch in a state in which the catch is locked with the edge of the through hole after the second leg is inserted.
