A tube pump rotor including a rotor element, a plurality of first swing portions supported pivotally at their base end portions by the rotor element, second arm-shaped swing portions supported pivotally at their base end portions individually by the first swing portions, rollers supported rotatably by the individual free ends of the second swing portions, and buffer members made to confront the side faces of the second swing portions so that the rollers may be individually directed radially outward of the rotor.

A liquid pumping apparatus comprising a rotor housing, a rotor having at least one roller, to be rotated by a prime mover, an inner periphery wall of the rotor housing, a flexible tube to be inserted into a gap formed between the rotor and the inner periphery wall and squeezed when the rotor is rotated so as to transfer a liquid fed into the tube, and a deformable guide for guiding the flexible tube in a moving path of the roller. At least one portion of the inner periphery wall is movable so as to approach or separate from the rotor.

Roller-type liquid pumping apparatus with improved installation capability

A roller pump comprises a pump housing having a cylindrical inner surface, a rotor fixed to a drive shaft placed at the central portion of the pump housing, rollers provided around the rotor and a driver for driving the drive shaft through a reduction gear. The rollers press an elastic tube installed between the rollers and the inner surface of the pump housing to transfer a liquid in the elastic tube by rotation of the rotor. The pump housing and the reduction gear are integrated into one body and an output shaft of the reduction gear is fixed to the drive shaft of the rotor. A stepping motor is used as the driver. A part of the inner surface of the pump housing is composed of a semicircle, another part of the inner surface is composed of a partial circle of which center is shifted from the center of the semicircle. The inlet and outlet slots are provided with levers for pressing the inlet or outlet portion into the inlet or outlet slot to hold inlet or outlet portion in the inlet or outlet slot respectively.

A time to complete the liquid infusion is calculated by using a distance between the position where the plunger ( ) is connected to the holder ( ) and a liquid infusion finish position proper to the syringe, and a predetermined liquid infusion speed.

A universal joint comprises a cavity formed in a joint case, a planar plate fitted in the cavity, a spherical member arranged in the cavity so that it is held by a spherical surface receiving seat and a portion of the planar plate, and pressure screw for pressing the planar plate toward the spherical surface receiving seat.

A liquid infusion apparatus for fixing an outer cylinder of a syringe and a driver for pushing a plunger in a predetermined direction so as to exhaust liquid in the syringe, an incremental linear encoder arranged along the feeding axis of said driver for pushing the plunger, a detector of said incremental linear encoder mounted on a slider portion of the driver for pushing the plunger so as to generate a signal indicating a moving quantity of the plunger, and a sensor provided in the vicinity of a liquid exhaust port of the outer cylinder for setting along the feeding axis a remaining liquid quantity small section so as to generate a signal about a position of the plunger at the remaining liquid quantity small section.

An agitator comprises a main body for supporting rotatably a rotary shaft, a chuck for connecting detachably an agitating rod with the rotary shaft, starting means for starting the rotation of the rotary shaft when the chuck is covered with a chuck cover, and locking means for locking rotary shaft when the chuck is not covered with the chuck cover. The chuck cover is removed from the main body when an external force larger than a predetermined value is applied to the chuck cover. The starting means comprises a permanent magnet provided on the outer periphery of a disk hub and a magnetic sensor provided on the main body so that an output is generated to start the driving source only when the chuck cover is moved to cover the chuck. The locking means comprises a hole formed in the rotary shaft, an eccentric cam to be rotated by the chuck cover, and a lock pin which is moved by the eccentric cam so as to be inserted into the hole of the rotary shaft when the chuck is not covered with the chuck cover. A universal joint comprises a cavity formed in a joint case, a planar plate fitted in the cavity, a spherical member arranged in the cavity so that it is held by a spherical surface receiving seat and a portion of the planar plate, and pressure means for pressing the planar plate toward the spherical surface receiving seat.

Agitator and fixing device thereof

In a liquid infusion apparatus, an incremental linear encoder is arranged along the feeding shaft direction of the liquid infusion apparatus to directly monitor the movement and position of a carriage part which applies an action to a plunger. A detecting sensor is provided at a starting point of a remaining liquid quantity small region to recognize the absolute position at said region by using feed-back pulses from said encoder. A pressing device for pressing a flange of the plunger to a plunger receiving portion of a slider by holding arms is provided. A pressure sensor is arranged between said plunger receiving portion and the slider to detect a negative pressure applied to the plunger in such a manner that the other operation states of pressure are detected based on a detected value of pressure at which the flange is pressed to the plunger receiving portion. The holding arms which are able to open are moved in the moving direction of the slider to press for holding the flange of the plunger to the plunger holding portion of the slider. The holding arm for press holding the flange of the plunger with the slider is supported rotatably freely by a shaft and urged to rotate by a spring in the clockwise direction. A projection which is engaged with a small projection provided an end of the holding arms is provided on a lever, so that the holding arm can be rotated in the counter-clockwise direction by said projection. A half-nut releasing device interlocking with a retracting lever provided on the slider for disengaging the half-nut from a feed screw is composed of means to urge the half-nut by a release cam having a step portion and of means to press the flange of the plunger against the slider by the holding arm for holding the flange of the plunger. A one-way clutch for transmitting a driving force in the syringe pushing direction is arranged between the output shaft of a prime mover and the feed screw.
