A rotary drive device in a mobile body includes a main wheel and a pair of drive assemblies opposing each other and each driving the main wheel. The main wheel includes driven rollers. One of the pair of drive assemblies includes a motor, a motor case, a drive force transmission, and driving rollers. The driving rollers are in the drive force transmission along a circumferential direction, and contact at least a portion of the driven rollers from one side of the rotary drive device of the axial direction. The drive force transmission rotates to transmit a drive force of the motor to the main wheel via the driving rollers. At least a portion of the motor case opposes at least a portion of the driving rollers in the axial direction.

Rotary drive device

A mobile body (A) includes: a base body () tiltably assembled to a movement operation section () that can move on a floor surface; an occupant riding sectioninstalled to the base body () by a connection mechanism (); an auxiliary ground contact sectionconnected to the occupant riding section () and in contact with the floor surface in a slidable or rollable manner when a tilt amount of the occupant riding section () with respect to the floor surface increases to a predetermined amount; and a control device () which controls the movement of the movement operation section () to stabilize the attitude of the mobile body (A). The connection mechanism () elastically rocks the occupant riding section () with respect to the base body () according to the movement of the center of gravity of a user P riding on the occupant riding section ().

Mobile body

The vehicle is provided with a seat which is movable between a high position and a low position, and configured to be grounded when the seat is at the low position, and a support leg extending substantially downward from the seat of the vehicle. The support leg is movable between a retracted position positioned close to a vehicle body frame and a deployed position positioned remote from the vehicle body frame, the support leg being configured to be at the retracted position when the seat is at the high position, and to move from the retracted position to the deployed position when the seat moves from the high position to the low position.

Vehicle provided with lift unit for seat

An inverted pendulum vehicle () comprises a main wheel () configured to be driven under an inverted pendulum control, a vehicle body frame () supporting the main wheel, an outer shell () covering the vehicle body frame, and a seat () mounted on the vehicle body frame in a vertically adjustable manner for seating a rider of the vehicle, wherein the seat is provided with an extension () extending downward therefrom along a front side of the outer shell, and the vehicle body frame is provided with a projection () projecting forward from the vehicle body frame and passed through a front part of the outer shell, the projection being provided with a free end configured to contact a rear side of the extension.

Inverted pendulum vehicle

In an inverted pendulum vehicle, the fore and aft dimension of the vehicle in a forwardly tilted, parked position is minimized. A pivot center line of a base end of a tail wheel arm is located inside a circle centered around a center of a tail wheel and having a radius equal to a distance between the center of the tail wheel and the rotational center line of the drive disks, and with respect to a hypothetical tail wheel arm, a first line is a line extending along the hypothetical tail wheel arm when the vehicle is in the upright position, and a second line is a line extending along the hypothetical tail wheel arm when the vehicle is in the forwardly tilted, park position, the pivot center line being located on or above a bisector of an angle formed by the first line and the second line.

In an inverted pendulum vehicle () including a vehicle body frame () fitted with a saddle () at an upper end thereof; a main wheel () combining a plurality of free rollers () arranged along a circle such that rotational center lines of the free rollers are each directed along a tangential line of the circle, a pair of drive disks () each carrying a plurality of free rollers () arranged along a circumferential direction and configured to engage the free rollers of the main wheel, and a pair of drive units () including a pair of electric motors () for individually driving the drive disks under an inverted pendulum control, the two drive units are positioned one behind the other between the saddle and a rotational center line of the main wheel.

An electrically driven vehicle includes a driver's seat, a left rear seat, a right rear seat, a center console, a first battery group, and a second battery group. The left rear seat and the right rear seat are provided side by side in a rear of the driver's seat. The center console is arranged between the left rear seat and the right rear seat and extends backwardly from the driver's seat. The first battery group includes batteries arranged under the driver's seat. The second battery group includes batteries arranged under the center console and under the left rear seat and the right rear seat in the rear of the driver's seat.

Electrically driven vehicle

Provided is a swing arm device for an electric two- or three-wheeled vehicle that can be reduced in the number of components for a reduction in weight while being mounted compact in an electric vehicle for which a swing arm of an electric vehicle includes a battery and a charger. The swing arm device for an electric two- or three-wheeled vehicle to be fitted on an electric vehicle includes a swing arm () one end of which is coupled to a swing shaft and the other end of which supports a rear wheel (WR), an electric motor (M) placed at the other end side of the swing arm () and for driving the rear wheel (WR), and a battery () for supplying electric power to the electric motor (M), and a charger () for charging the battery () is incorporated in the swing arm ().

Swing arm device for electric two- or three-wheeled vehicle

An electric vehicle is provided with a swing arm one end of which is coupled to a swinging shaft and the other end of which supports a rear wheel. An electric motor is installed on the side of the other end of the swing arm and drives the rear wheel. The swing aim is provided with a housing space provided in the vicinity of the swinging shaft and a guide groove that positions the battery in the housing space, the battery is mounted inside the swing arm by fixing the battery positioned in the housing space via potting material. The housing space is provided with an opening for inserting the battery on the side of the electric vehicle and the battery is inserted and fixed into/to the housing space of the swing aim from the side of the electric vehicle.

Battery for electric vehicle

A battery is disposed close to a through-hole of a swing shaft that pivotally supports a swing arm on a vehicle body frame so as to be freely swingable at a position closer to the front of the vehicle body in the swing arm. An electric motor is disposed close to an axle of a rear wheel at a position closer to the rear of the vehicle body in the swing arm. The control board is disposed at a position outside of the battery in the vehicle width direction, and the heating element board is disposed at a position rearward of the vehicle body with respect to the control board and forward of the vehicle body with respect to the motor.

Control device of electric motorcycle

Inside of a swing arm () that pivotally supports a rear wheel (WR) of an electric two-wheeled vehicle () and that is freely swingably attached to a vehicle body, a battery (), an electric motor (M) for driving the rear wheel (WR), and a board () serving as a control device for controlling the electric motor (M) are equipped. Coupling a throttle grip () and a throttle position sensor () by physical transmission means () therebetween allows a configuration so that a turning angle of the throttle grip () can be detected, and the throttle position sensor () is attached to the board (). Exhaust manifold

An exhaust manifold M is comprised of a plurality of inner exhaust pipe shells secured to an upper flange, and a plurality of outer exhaust pipe shells secured to the upper flange to individually cover the inner exhaust pipe shells, wherein a downstream end of each of the corresponding inner exhaust pipe shells slidably contacts an annular bead bulging from an outer peripheral surface of the downstream end of the outer exhaust pipe shells. An inner collecting pipe shell communicates with the plurality of inner exhaust pipe shells and is secured at its upstream end to the plurality of outer exhaust pipe shells, and an outer collecting pipe shell which is secured at its upstream end to the plurality of outer exhaust pipe shells covers the inner collecting pipe shell. A downstream end of the inner collecting pipe shell slidably contacts an annular mesh member interposed therebetween. Sliding portions for absorbing a difference in the axial thermal elongation between inner and outer double walls are provided separately at the downstream end of an exhaust single pipe and the downstream end of an exhaust collecting pipe. Thus, the sliding stroke in each of the sliding portions can be set to a small value, and the absorption of the thermal elongation can be carried out smoothly.

Heat-insulation type exhaust manifold

In a control cylinder device of a variable displacement compressor, an annular cylinder concentric with a driving rotary shaft is provided in a housing of a compressor body, and an annular control piston is slidably fitted in the cylinder to define a control pressure chamber within the cylinder. The annular control piston is connected to a sleeve, such that the sliding movement of the sleeve can be controlled by the operation of the control piston. Further, inner and outer seal rings are interposed in an axially misaligned relation to each other between inner and outer slide surfaces of the cylinder and control piston. This facilitates an accurate formation of the inner and outer surfaces of the cylinder in the cylinder device on which the control piston slides. Also, this easily insures sealing properties required between the slide surfaces of the cylinder and the piston. In addition, it is possible to effectively prevent the inclination of the control piston within the cylinder.

Control cylinder device in variable displacement compressor

A driving rotary shaft is rotatably carried on a compressor body of a variable displacement compressor. On axial one side of a sleeve slidably carried on the driving rotary shaft, there is disposed a first spring of a displacement setting device for biasing the sleeve in one axial direction and holding a stopper, with which the sleeve is engageable, at a stop position on the driving rotary shaft. On the axial other side of the sleeve, there is disposed a second spring of the displacement setting device for biasing the sleeve in the other axial direction, the second spring being weaker than the first spring. At the starting of the compressor, the first spring holds the stopper at the stop position against a repulsive force of the second spring to hold the sleeve engaged with the stopper at a fixed position. This makes it possible to set the strengths of individual members and the capacity of a clutch to be smaller than those in the prior art, leading to reductions in size, weight and cost of the entire compressor.
