In a structure of interconnection fitting of division protectors fittingly interconnected to form a harness protector, the division protectors have interconnection fitting portions at their end portions. Retaining projections are formed at one of the interconnection fitting portions which are to be fittingly interconnected, and elastic retaining arms are formed at the other interconnection fitting portion. The elastic retaining arm is so formed as to produce an urging force outwardly in a widthwise direction which is generally perpendicular to a fitting/disconnecting direction and also to a longitudinal direction. Elastic deformation limitation walls for limiting elastic deformation of the elastic retaining arm are formed near respectively to the retaining projection and the elastic retaining arm so as to abut against each other upon movement in a predetermined amount in the widthwise direction.

Structure of interconnection fitting of division protectors

For preventing clamping an elastic grommet main body at open/close, a waterproof grommet () has an elastic grommet main body () passing electric wires therethrough and a hold member () mounted on an outer surface of an intermediate portion in a lengthwise direction of the grommet main body. The hold member is mountable on a mounting part. The grommet main body () has a cylindrical portion () and bellows portions (), () at the both side thereof. The hold member () is provided on the cylindrical portion. The hold memberincludes a ring portion () and a holding portion () provided at the ring portion. The ring portion () is lockable and capable of being opened and closed.

Waterproof grommet

A device for guiding a wire harness connected to a steering column, includes a protector for accomodating a slacken part of the wire harness therein and two half cylindrical ribs elastically formed in the protector. In operation, when the slacken part is expanded, the ribs serve to urge the slacken part to recover the original configuration before being expanded.
