A conference support apparatus includes an acquirer, an acceptor, a determiner, and an outputter. The acquirer acquires, for each predetermined member, related information including an evaluation value representing the association between a predefined word representing the classification of a conference and the member. The acceptor accepts input of information regarding a conference to be held and a member selected from the predetermined members as a potential participant of the conference to be held. The determiner determines whether or not a member who is a potential participant is suitable as a conference participant of the conference to be held, on the basis of the related information corresponding to the potential participant and the information regarding the conference to be held. Image display device

A display apparatus includes an orientation detecting portion, a receiving portion and an image processing portion. The orientation detecting portion detects an orientation of an upper part or a lower part of a display screen of a display portion. The receiving portion receives an image signal transmitted from a source device and state information (information showing an orientation of an upper part or a lower part of the transmission image indicated by the image signal and presence/absence of black band parts). The image processing portion applies, to the transmission image, rotation processing such that the orientation of the upper part or the lower part of the display screen coincides with the orientation of the upper part or the lower part of the transmission image, scaling processing, and/or black-band processing for adding or removing black band parts, according to a detection result of the orientation detecting portion and the state information.

A wireless transmission system is provided that can minimize the control command transmission amount by operating a plurality of sink devices in conjunction with each other with respect to each group. The wireless transmission system includes: a bridge device () which wireless-transmits an AV content; and a plurality of wireless sink devices () which reproduce the wireless-transmitted AV content. The bridge device () has a group identification table which stores a group identifier for identifying a group formed by the wireless sink device (). A system () includes a monitor () and a STB (). The STB () notifies the monitor () of a request for reconnection with the monitor () with the use of a new channel in a case where it is determined that overflow has occurred. Disclosed is a wireless transmission system provided with: a sink device which, when AV data transmitted by means of multicast wireless transmission from a source device is reproduced, performs reproduction control in accordance with the wireless connection state of another sink device that reproduces the AV data from the same source device; and the source device which is capable of determining the wireless connection state and the reproduction control state of the sink device. When the AV data obtained by means of multicast wireless transmission from the source device () is reproduced, the sink device () acquires state information indicating the wireless connection state of the other sink device and adjusts reproduction control for the AV data of the actual sink device () in accordance with this state information. The source device () acquires information on the wireless connection state and the reproduction control state of each sink device and stops or restarts transmission of the AV data on the basis of this information.

Provided is a wireless transmission system which can transmit data accompanying video/audio by a different transmission method depending on the characteristic of the data in a wireless transmission environment where the transmission band is narrow and a transmission error is easily caused. The wireless transmission system includes: a wireless receiver () connected to a sink device (); and a wireless transmitter () connected to a source device (). A wireless communication is performed between the wireless receiver () and the wireless transmitter () so that video and audio are outputted from the source device () to the sink device (). The wireless receiver () and/or the wireless transmitter () categorizes the data accompanying the video and the audio in accordance with the characteristic thereof and transmits the accompanying data by using a different transmission method depending on the categorization.
