A damper device may include a baffle to open/close an opening part; a motor; and a gear train connecting the motor and the baffle and including a partially toothless gear and a sector gear. The partially toothless gear may include an outer peripheral part so as to have an outer peripheral face curved along a tooth tip circle of the teeth part. The outer peripheral part may include an end face at a midway position of the teeth part in the axial line direction where a length in the axial line direction is shorter than a tooth width of the teeth part. The sector gear may include a first tooth cut out facing the outer peripheral face and configured to enter in to an inner peripheral side of the tooth tip circle. A second tooth disposed adjacent to the first tooth and configured to abut the outer peripheral face.

Damper device

In a driving force transmission mechanism in a motor type damper device, when a small AC synchronous motor rotates in one direction and a tooth-missing gear part of a tooth-missing gear engages with the first rack part of a rack member the rack member is moved upward to operate a baffle in an open direction and, when the tooth-missing gear part engages with the second rack part of the rack member, the rack member is moved downward to operate the baffle in a close direction. In this manner, even when the baffle and the rack member are operated in both directions, the tooth-missing gear is required to be rotated in only one direction and the rotation of the small AC synchronous motor is not required to be reversed. Therefore, the structure of a control circuit for the motor type damper device can be simplified.

Motor actuator and opening/closing device

A damper device includes a drive part, a baffle driven by the drive part, a frame including an aperture part which is opened or closed by the baffle, and a cover member for covering a joint part provided for the drive part to prevent moisture existing outside of the drive part from entering into the drive part. An adhesive is preferably coated in the joint part for the drive part to prevent the moisture from entering into the drive part.

A driving force transmission mechanism having a following rotation preventing mechanism that prevents a follower wheel from rotating together with a driving wheel in a play section is provided. Also, a damper apparatus that can drive two open-close plates independently from each other through the driving force transmission mechanism are provided. The following rotation preventing mechanism includes a cam member that rotates together with the follower wheel, and an elastic member that elastically presses a cam surface of the cam member. The cam surface has an arcuate section that slides against the elastic member in a linked movement section in which the follower wheel follows rotations of the driving wheel, small diameter sections on both sides of the arcuate section, and ridge sections that continuously connects the small diameter sections and the arcuate section without forming step differences. The following rotation of the follower wheel is prevented by a load that is generated as an abutting position between the elastic member and the cam surface shifts from the smaller diameter section past the ridge section into the arcuate section.

Driving force transmission mechanism and damper apparatus equipped with driving force transmission mechanism

A damper device includes a first baffle capable of opening or closing a first opening portion by turning about its axis and a second baffle capable of opening or closing a second opening portion by turning about its axis. A common drive source for driving the first baffle and the second baffle and a gear train by which the output from the drive source is transmitted to the first baffle and the second baffle are also provided. The device also includes a first rotary shaft driven by the gear train for driving the first baffle and a second rotary shaft driven by the gear train for driving the second baffle. The first rotary shaft and the second rotary shaft are arranged to be extended from the positions adjacent to each other on the gear train toward one side in an axial direction of the gear train.

A flow control device includes an opening part through which an upstream side of a fluid flow passage is in communication with a downstream side of the fluid flow passage. A valve element closes the opening part and includes a large flow rate controlling valve element capable of adjusting an opening degree of the opening part, a sealing member provided with a valve hole having an open area smaller than the opening part and formed to be capable of being brought into tight contact with a peripheral wall part of the opening part and a small flow rate controlling valve element capable of adjusting an opening degree of the valve hole. A valve drive device rotates to drive the valve element in a closed direction for closing the opening part or in an opened direction for opening the opening part.

Flow control device

A motor control device for a flow control device includes an opening part through which an upstream side of a fluid flow passage is in communication with a downstream side of the fluid flow passage, a valve element that controls a flow of a fluid which passes through the opening part, a motor which includes a rotor and a stator that relatively moves the valve element with respect to the opening part and a drive control section by which the motor is rotationally driven and controlled. Drive pulses are outputted from the drive control section for rotationally driving the rotor of the motor and a stop pulse is outputted from the drive control section and set to be a period width longer than that of the drive pulse for stopping the rotor of the motor at a prescribed position. The stop pulse is applied to the motor and the rotor stops at the prescribed position by a magnetic detent torque between the rotor and the stator.

Motor control device for flow control device

A motor-operated damper device includes a baffle driving device equipped with a motor, a baffle that is driven by the baffle driving device, a frame defining an opening section that is closed and opened by the baffle, the opening section having a peripheral edge section, and a buffer member that is attached to the baffle and that resiliently deforms and contacts the peripheral edge section of the opening section when the opening section is closed by the baffle. A detent torque of the motor is used to maintain a stopping state in which the buffer member is resiliently deformed to provide a close contact with the peripheral edge section of the opening section. The motor-operated damper device includes a stopper that allows an appropriate amount of elastic deformation of the buffer member and yet prevents the peripheral edge section of the opening section from excessively sinking into the buffer member.

Motor-operated damper device

A connector is connected to a terminal of a coil wound on a motor bobbin in a motor, and coupled with a mating connector to electrically connect the motor and an external device. In the connector, at least one conductive connection member is accommodated in an insulative holder. The connection member includes a main body, a first engagement section monolithically formed on a first end portion of the main body to elastically hold the terminal of the coil, and a second engagement section monolithically formed on a second end portion of the main body to be coupled with the mating connector.

Connector for motor

A damper apparatus for a refrigerator includes a single damper open/close plate in which two faces of the damper open/close plate are capable of facing two duct opening sections that are branched from one duct. Each of the two faces of the open/close plate opens and closes each of the corresponding opening sections that face the respective two faces of the open/close plate.

A motor-type damper unit includes a motor for driving in a single direction, an opened/closed member for reciprocating in an opening direction and a closing direction with a fulcrum shaft serving as a center by a drive force of said motor, an intermittent drive gear formed with a tooth part in a predetermined part in a circumferential direction and rotation blocking parts at both ends of the tooth part, said intermittent drive gear for rotating by the drive force of said motor, a first transmission gear placed on the fulcrum shaft for engaging the tooth part of said intermittent drive gear, thereby rotating said opened/closed member in a predetermined direction and a second transmission gear for engaging the tooth part of said intermittent drive gear at a different position from said first transmission gear, for transmitting a rotation force of said intermittent drive gear to said first transmission gear and for rotating said first transmission gear in an opposite direction to the predetermined direction.

Motor-type damper unit

In an opening/closing member driving method in which the rotation of a motor rotatable in two directions is transmitted through a transmission member to an opening/closing member to thereby drive a baffle 4 in an opening direction A and in a closing direction B, when driving the transmission member from an intermediate position to an original position which is set at a position where the transmission member is moved to the full in one direction or in the other direction, the transmission member is once driven in the opposite direction to the original position and is stopped at such opposite position or in the neighborhood of the opposite position and, after then, the transmission member is driven in the original position direction by an amount equivalent to the normal movement thereof and is thereby returned to the original position.

Method for driving opening/closing member

A damper comprises two cold air inlets through which a fluid flows, two gate plates which open and close the two cold air inlets and a drive unit for driving the two gate plates. The drive unit is installed between the two cold air inlets to open and close the gate plates. The drive unit operates to control the fluid flow. In a particular form, the damper is installed in a refrigerator for opening and closing two cold air inlets of the refrigerator.
