A touch panel device includes a cover panel having a front surface including an operation region on which a touch operation is performed and a back surface as a surface on a side opposite to the front surface, a first adhesive material provided on the back surface, a touch panel unit that includes a base substrate and a plurality of touch sensor electrodes provided on a region of the base substrate corresponding to the operation region and is arranged to face the back surface via the first adhesive material, a first displacement detection electrode provided on a part of the back surface outside a region of the back surface corresponding to the operation region, and a second displacement detection electrode provided on a part of the base substrate outside the region of the base substrate corresponding to the operation region to face the first displacement detection electrode.

A touch panel device includes a cover panel that has an operation surface and bends corresponding to a depressing force applied to the operation surface; a touch sensor unit including touch sensor electrodes that output touch sensor signals; an elastic member that has a dielectric constant changing corresponding to a temperature and deforms due to the bending of the cover panel, the elastic member including an adhesive agent provided between the cover panel and the touch sensor unit; a first sensor unit that detects a capacitance changing depending on the dielectric constant and a thickness of the elastic member; and processing circuitry to estimate the temperature based on the capacitance detected by the first sensor unit; to detect the depressing force based on the estimated temperature and the capacitance detected by the first sensor unit; and to execute processing of the touch sensor signals based on the detected depressing force.

Touch panel device, touch panel control method, and storage medium storing touch panel control program

A touch panel includes a base substrate, a cover panel, a first electrode formed outside of a display region on a back surface of the cover panel, and a second electrode formed outside of the display region on a front surface of the base substrate. A pressure when the base substrate is pressed by the pointer through the cover panel is detected by measuring a change of a distance between the first electrode and the second electrode when the front surface of the cover panel is pressed as a change of electrostatic capacitance between the first electrode and the second electrode. The touch panel further includes a ground electrode formed on an outer peripheral side of the first electrode of the cover panel.

A touch panel includes a cover panel, a touch sensor substrate in which a sensor electrode for detecting a position of a pointing object is disposed in a detection region, an adhesive agent being disposed between the cover panel and the touch sensor substrate, a first electrode being disposed in an outer region of a region corresponding to the detection region of a second surface of the cover panel, and a second electrode being disposed to overlap a part of the first electrode in plan view in an outer region of the detection region of a third surface of the touch sensor substrate.

Touch panel and display device

A display device according to the present invention includes a touch panel, a dielectric sheet, a frame, and a display panel. The touch panel has a touch sensor portion in the middle and a first electrode in an inner peripheral portion. Further, the dielectric sheet is closely adhered the back surface of the touch panel in its front surface. The frame has an opening in the central portion thereof and a second electrode in a marginal portion that is closely adhered the back surface of the dielectric sheet. The display panel has a display surface to display a screen image and the display surface is closely adhered the back surface of the dielectric sheet in the opening of the frame. The first electrode and the second electrode constitute a pressure-sensitive sensor that has a function to detect a pressing force when an operation element touches the front surface of the touch panel. Thus, a highly reliable display device with a touch panel can be provided in which degradation in the visibility of the display panel can be avoided and the stress occurring in the pressure-sensitive sensor is reduced.

Display device

A touch panel according to the present invention includes a touch sensor substrate having a touch sensor portion in the central portion of the touch sensor substrate and having a first electrode and a second electrode in the inner peripheral portion of the touch sensor substrate, a protective plate to cover the front surface of the touch sensor substrate, a dielectric sheet provided between the touch sensor substrate and the protective plate, and a conductive member disposed at a position so as to face the first electrode and the second electrode, wherein the first electrode, the second electrode, and the conductive member constitute a pressure-sensitive sensor. With this structure, a touch panel having a pressure-sensitive sensor and a display device provided with the touch panel can be manufactured without an increase in the manufacturing time.

Provided is a porous membrane that can be manufactured in uncomplicated steps, has high hydrophilicity and water permeability, and exhibits excellent anti-fouling properties when used in a membrane bioreactor method (MBR method). A touch panel includes a touch sensor panel including a touch sensor capable of detecting a change in electrostatic capacitance formed between the touch sensor panel and a pointer, a pressure sensor capable of detecting a pressure on a touch surface of the touch sensor panel as a change in electrostatic capacitance, and a shield layer. The shield layer is disposed between the touch surface and the pressure sensor so as to be overlapped with at least a part of the pressure sensor as viewed from the touch surface.

A plurality of excitation electrodes, each disposed along a row direction, are provided on a back side of a transparent substrate, and a plurality of detection electrodes, each disposed along a column direction, a plurality of tactile sensation generation row electrodes, each disposed along the row direction, and a plurality of tactile sensation generation column electrodes, each disposed along the column direction, are provided on the front side of the transparent substrate. The front side of the transparent substrate is defined as an operation screen. A light-shielding portion is provided on an inner surface of a first substrate and has an opening pattern. A color material portion is provided on the inner surface of the first substrate. A second substrate faces the inner surface of the first substrate. Inner sensor electrodes are provided between the inner surface of the first substrate and the second substrate, and are included in the light-shielding portion in a plan view. Outer sensor electrodes are made of metal and are provided on an observation surface of the first substrate. The projection of the outer sensor electrode onto the inner surface of the first substrate through the optical path corresponding to the viewing angle is included in the light-shielding portion in a plan view. Each of the outer sensor electrodes includes a region extending along one direction parallel to a lateral direction of the display panel with a touch sensor.

Touch panel apparatus

A touch sensor panel includes a plurality of sensors. A protective plate protects the touch sensor panel. A transparent adhesive material attaches the touch sensor panel and the protective plate. A moisture-proof sealing member has water vapor permeability that is lower than water vapor permeability of the transparent adhesive material. A flexible wiring board connects the plurality of sensors to an external circuit. The transparent adhesive material has a region that is out of contact with the protective plate or the touch sensor panel, and at least a part of the region is covered by the moisture-proof sealing member.

A display panel includes: a display functional portion formed of a display functional layer sandwiched between transparent substrates facing each other; and a touch screen portion that includes lower wiring and upper wiring made of a conductive metal material, that includes an interlayer insulating film located between the lower wiring and the upper wiring, and that includes a protective film covering the lower wiring, the upper wiring, and the interlayer insulating film. The lower wiring of the touch screen portion is formed on a surface on an observer side of the transparent substrate on the observer side.

Detection column wires and detection row wires are configured of thin wires made of a conductive material having light reflectivity, such as a metal or alloy including silver and aluminum. A predetermined plural number of detection column wires are electrically connected to form a plurality of column-direction bundle wires. A predetermined plural number of detection row wires are electrically connected to form a plurality of row-direction bundle wires. A reflected-light distribution pattern is further provided.
