A multiple-modes adaptable radiotelephone adaptable to multiple communication modes, which is communicable with any of a cellular phone, cordless telephone and PCS telephone. The radiotelephone includes a single wireless transceiver for modulating and demodulating signals in the transmitting/receiving frequency bands of a cellular telephone system and a cordless telephone system. The transmitting/receiving frequency bands of the cordless telephone system are located closed to those of the cellular telephone system. A control unit, which has a PCS software installed therein, is provided for controlling the wireless transceiver.

Multiple-modes adaptable radiotelephone

A slide magazine of a slide film printing system is provided with frame members each provided with slide film chambers in which slide films are stored respectively so as to be fed successively to the printer and which are provided with addresses respectively corresponding to the slide films stored therein. The slide magazine is also provided with a memory so that printing information for the slide films in the chambers will be stored in the memory in accordance with the addresses and the memory is operatively coupled to a printer of the printing system.

A control strip supply apparatus supplies a control strip for inspection of development conditions to a processing tank in a developing machine. The apparatus has a cassette accommodating the control strip, an inside cover of the developing machine on which the cassette is mounted, a guide block provided below the inside cover so as to guide the control strip drawn out of the cassette into the processing tank, and an outside cover which shields the path of the control strip from the cassette to the guide block. Accordingly, the control strip can readily and reliably be supplied into the processing tank while being shielded from light.

A photosensitive material guide structure for use in a developing apparatus adapted to develop a photosensitive material having been subjected to light exposure has at least one pair of feed rollers which feed forward the photosensitive material while clamping it therebetween within the developing apparatus. Both axial end portions of at least one of the pair of feed rollers are reduced in diameter. Accordingly, when the rollers clamp the photosensitive material to feed it, both the lateral edge portions of the photosensitive material are subjected to a clamping force which is weaker than that applied to the other portion of the material.

Photosensitive material guide structure for developing apparatus

A drying apparatus for drying photographic paper includes a rotary drum and a duct having a recess which is provided with air outlet bores. A photographic paper passing area is defined between the outer periphery of the drum and the recess of the duct. The warm air blown out of the air outlet bores presses the side (the reverse side) of the photographic paper which is opposite to the emulsion layer side thereof against the outer periphery of the rotary drum, thereby maintaining the emulsion layer side of the paper in a non-contact state while the paper is being transported. The rotary drum is provided with bores through which the warm air is sucked in so as to suction-hold the photographic paper on the outer periphery of the rotary drum, whereby the photographic paper is also heated from the reverse side thereof. If the rotary drum is rotated at a higher peripheral speed than the speed of travel of the photographic paper, if it possible to prevent the formation of any dent in the reverse side of the photographic paper by the action of the suction bores.

Drying apparatus

A clip 12 is engaged with the leading end portion of a photosensitive material 10 of continuous length which has been printed with images. The clip is propelled by a driving force to convey the photosensitive material. In a clip removing device 56, rotating arms 66 bend the leading end portion of the photosensitive material in the direction of the thickness thereof such that the leading end portion is disengaged from the clip. The photosensitive material is then fed by rollers 72, 74, 80, 82 to a subsequent stage 87 where it is cut off.

Apparatus for processing photosensitive material

A photographic film having a bar code formed in the vicinity of one side edge thereof is longitudinally moved while being guided by a mount. An optical fiber bundle which moves while following one widthwise end surface of the photographic film reads the bar code on the film. The optical fiber bundle follows any change in width of the photographic film and therefore constantly coincides with the bar code to effect correct reading thereof.

A method for sorting slide films stored in a magazine. One slide film has a mount made of a rigid material such as thick paper, and an exposed film or a picture image is mounted on the mount. In a sequence of operations to take out a film slide from a magazine storing a plurality of slides, transport the same for a predetermined treatment and transport again to another place for storing the same in a different magazine or a bucket, a dummy slide which can be easily discerned is inserted for every group of slides sorted according to an arbitrary classification, for example by clients or by subjects, to thereby facilitate a sorting operation.

A negative film carrier for printing pictures including a carrier stand having an abutting and moving drive mechanism which is adapted to be rocked by a solenoid, a plurality of stationary frames of different image window sides which are interchangeably mounted on the carrier stand, and a plurality of abutting movable frames provided in correspondence with the stationary frames. The image window of each of the abutting movable frames has two parallel sides parallel to the direction of advancement of a negative film and a second pair of sides having a decreasing width in a direction perpendicular to the direction of advancement of a negative film. The second two sides may be formed arcuately or each may be two sides of an overall hexagonal window frame.

Negative film carrier

A negative film handling method and apparatus in which negative films to be printed are inserted into negative film carrier sheets and the film sheets are attached side-by-side on a conveyor flexible transparent belt. Negative film inserting and removing openings provided in the film sheets are aligned with one another perpendicular to the inserting and removing direction. The negative film inserting and removing openings are opened by bending an edge portion of the flexible transparent belt.
