A controller includes an instruction table memory, a program counter, a first decoder, and a first executing unit. The instruction table memory stores an instruction code obtained by coding a sequence to access a nonvolatile semiconductor memory. A read address in the instruction table memory is set to the program counter. The first decoder decodes the instruction code read from the instruction table memory to output a first decode signal. The first executing unit executes access to the nonvolatile semiconductor memory on the basis of the first decode signal output from the first decoder.

To provide a semiconductor circuit device including a synchronous frequency divider which counts input clock signals and outputs a counted value, a selector circuit which receives signals of bits of the counted value output from the synchronous frequency divider and outputs a carry look-ahead signal of predetermined bits as an operation-processing effective-state signal in accordance with a selector signal, and an integrated circuit portion which uses a clock signal input to the synchronous frequency divider as a source clock and whose operating frequency is switched in accordance with the operation-processing effective-state signal.

Semiconductor circuit device

A semiconductor integrated circuit according to an aspect of the invention comprises a first storage circuit, second storage circuit, adder circuit, timer, first comparator circuit and waveform-generating circuit. The first storage circuit stores a first value used to set a dead time. The second storage circuit stores a second value used to set a pulse width. The adder circuit adds the first value stored in the first storage circuit and the second value stored in the second storage circuit, thereby outputting an addition result. The timer measures an elapsed time and outputs a count value indicative of the elapsed time. The first comparator circuit compares the count value output from the timer with the addition result output from the adder circuit. The waveform-generating circuit generates a pulse on the basis of a comparison result of the first comparator circuit.
