A method of producing a molded article by melting a granule at a temperature of 280 to 380&#xb0; C. and molding it, wherein the granule satisfies the following conditions (I) and (II): (I) when 100 parts by weight of the granule is cleaned with 100 parts by weight of a 1N nitric acid aqueous solution, the amount of an Fe compound eluted into the 1N nitric acid aqueous solution cleaning fluid is 1 to 100 ppb in terms of the Fe atom based on the granule; and (II) the granule comprises (A) 100 parts by weight of a polycarbonate resin (component a) and (B) 0.00010 to 0.5 parts by weight of a specific phosphorous-based compound (component b).

A method for manufacturing a molded article by melting and molding a granule of a polycarbonate resin at a temperature of 280 to 380&#xb0; C., wherein the granule satisfies condition (a): when 100 parts by weight of the granule is cleaned with 100 parts by weight of a 1N nitric acid aqueous solution, the amount of an Fe compound eluted into the cleaning liquid of the 1N nitric acid aqueous solution is 1 to 100 ppb in terms of an Fe atom based on the granule. The molded article exhibits excellent color and transparency.

Method of manufacturing a molded article

A resin composition which contains polycarbonate resin, does not transmit a wavelength of 385 nm substantially and has a high total light transmittance and excellent heat resistance. The resin composition comprises (1) polycarbonate resin, (2) an ultraviolet absorber (A) such as 2-(2H-benzotriazol-2-yl)-p-cresol, (3) an ultraviolet absorber (B) such as 2,2'-methylenebis[4-(1,1,3,3-tetramethylbutyl)-6-(2H-benzotriazol-2-yl)phenol] and (4) at least one compound (C) represented by the following formula (I) or (II) and is used for spectacle lenses.(R&#x2014;S&#x2014;CH&#x2014;CH&#x2014;C(O)O&#x2014;CH&#x2014;)C&#x2003;&#x2003;(I)(R&#x2014;O&#x2014;C(O)&#x2014;CH&#x2014;CH&#x2014;)S&#x2003;&#x2003;(II)(wherein Ris an alkyl group having 4 to 20 carbon atoms, and Ris an alkyl group having 6 to 22 carbon atoms.)

According to the present invention, the spectacle lens made of the above polycarbonate resin composition has molding heat resistance which enables it to be kept at a high temperature for a long time when the lens is formed by extrusion compression molding, a small change in hue when heat history such as re-extrusion is applied so as to recycle product waste and excellent releasability.

A self-reactivating denitrating method and equipment in which the exhaust gas from the combustor flows and goes through an adsorbing catalyst tower filled with Cu(II) exchangeable high silica zeolite at a temperature of normal to 750.degree. C. to let NOx contained in the exhaust gas be adsorbed in the zeolite and decomposed into N.sub.2 and O.sub.2 resulting in achievement of cleaning the exhaust gas and then the zeolite saturated with NOx is put in touch countercurrently with air for combustion to let the adsorbed NOx be desorbed to reactivate Cu(II)exchangeable high silica zeolite and, at the same time, the air for combustion containing the adsorbed NOx is sent into the furnace of the combustor to decompose a part of NOx into N.sub.2 and O.sub.2 under an interfurnace combustion atmosphere.

The present application provides a fuel battery by which a loss due to electric resistance in a cathode, an electrolyte and an anode is decreased and which comprises a plurality of unit fuel cells each having the cylindrical anode, the cylindrical solid electrolyte in contact with the anode and the cylindrical cathode in contact with the cylindrical solid electrolyte, with the plurality of unit fuel cells being connected to each other with the interposition of connectors, the fuel battery being characterized in that the thickness of the anode is smaller with distance from the portion thereof connected to the cathode of the adjacent fuel cell, and the thickness of the cathode is smaller with distance from the portion thereof connected to the anode of the other adjacent fuel cell.
