An actuator apparatus includes a motor, an electromagnetic clutch, and an accommodation member accommodating the electromagnetic clutch, the electromagnetic clutch including an armature supported by a drive member rotated by motor drive and being adapted to rotate integrally with the drive member, a rotor being rotatable relative to the armature and being adapted to rotate integral with an output member, an electromagnet being capable of connecting the armature and the rotor to each other in accordance with an electromagnetic attractive force generated by electrification in such a manner that torque of the motor is transmittable, the actuator apparatus including a conductive member integrally provided at the accommodation member and being connected to a conductive portion of the electromagnetic clutch in such a manner that the conductive member forms a ground circuit that can connect the conductive portion with ground.

An electromagnetic clutch device includes an armature, a rotor, an electromagnet, and a silencing member. The armature is supported by a driving member so that the armature is movable in the axial direction and rotate integrally with the driving member. The rotor is arranged coaxially with the armature, rotate with respect to the armature and rotate integrally with an output member. The electromagnet presses the armature and the rotor against each other based on an electromagnetic attraction force generated when current is supplied through the electromagnet to be coupled with each other in the torque transmittable manner. The silencing member is provided on an outer circumferential portion of the armature to attenuate noise generated by the vibration of the armature in a state where the silencing member is out of contact with any member other than the armature.

A rail unit includes a lower rail, which guides the movement of a guide member connected to a sliding door, a front bracket, which is provided on the lower rail and fixed to a vehicle body, a rear bracket, and a center bracket. The rail unit is inserted into a first insertion hole, which is located below a lower panel provided on the vehicle body at a position below a door opening and opens outward in the vehicle body in the lateral direction of the vehicle. A drive unit is inserted into a second insertion hole, which is formed in the lower panel and opens upward in the vehicle. The drive unit is layered on an upper side of a drive pulley provided in the center bracket to rotate the drive pulley.

An opening and closing apparatus includes: a drive unit provided in an opening and closing body which is openably and closeably attached to a main body, and opening and closing the opening and closing body with respect to the main body by driving the opening and closing body using electric power; a secondary energy storage device provided in the opening and closing body and electrically connected to the drive unit in such a manner that the secondary energy storage device can be inductively charged and can supply electric power to the drive unit; and an electric power receiving coil provided in the opening and closing body so as to be capable of facing an electric power transmitting coil which is provided on the main body, and is electrically connected to a primary energy storage device installed on the main body, and electrically connected to the secondary energy storage device.
