A thermally-insulated double-walled container is disclosed made of synthetic resin which is formed by joining together an inner container and an outer container in a unitary fashion to form a space therebetween; wherein a thermoinsulating layer is formed in the space between the inner container and the outer container by filling the space with at least one low thermoconductive gas selected from the group consisting of xenon, krypton, and argon; and wherein the inner container and the outer container are multilayer molded from different synthetic resin materials. The container provides an excellent gas-barrier capacity without requiring plating of the outer surface of the inner container or the inner surface of the outer container in the double walled container and maintains its mechanical strength over a long period of time and having an excellent thermoinsulating capacity. The container is suitable as a thermos, cooler box, ice cooler, thermoinsulated cup, insulated lunch box, or the like.

Thermally-insulated double-walled synthetic-resin container

A metallic vacuum double-walled container and manufacturing method therein is provided in which an inner container and outer container are both formed from a metal. From among the aforementioned, at least the outer container possesses a body which is formed by rolling a steel plate with a Vickers hardness of 250.about.600. The outer container is then shaped into a cylindrical body, and joined to a processed inner container at their mouth portions to form a metallic double-walled container. This metallic double-walled container is then heat treated at a temperature of 200.degree..about.600.degree. C. under a vacuum, and the space between the two walls of the metallic double-walled container is vacuum sealed to form the final product.

A metallic vacuum double-walled container is provided in which an inner container and outer container are both formed from a metal. From among the aforementioned, at least the outer container possesses a body which is formed by rolling a steel plate with a Vickers hardness of 250.about.600.

Metallic vacuum double-walled container

A plug device for a liquid container is presented to enable cleaning of a flow passage of the liquid container as well as to eliminate the liquid being left in the flow passage during the operation of the liquid container, thus providing hygienic and safe operation of the container. The plug device consists of an outer plug member and an inner plug member which is detachably attached to the outer plug member. When the members are assembled, a flow passage is formed automatically to enable access to the liquid stored in the container. When a press button provided on the inner plug member is pressed down, the opening disposed at the bottom of a plunger device remains open, resulting in the interior space of the container being connected with the flow passage via the internal liquid passage. In this condition, the container can be tilted to dispense the liquid from the container. When the dispensation is completed, and the container is uprighted, the liquid in the flow passage is returned to the interior space of the container via a tapered surface formed on the inner plug member, thus leaving no liquid in the flow path. The plunger device is operated again to close off the opening, and thereby offering safe operation and enabling to maintain the quality of the liquid stored in the container, by removing a potential source of contamination from the residual liquid.

In a heat insulating cooking vessel wherein a cooking pot with a lid element is contained in a freely removeable fashion within the inner space of a heat insulating container consisting of a heat insulating container and a lid which closes the mouth portion of this container member, the present invention comprises attachment shafts which are formed projecting outward from both side walls of the container member of the heat insulating container; a grip handle which is attached to the container member via the aforesaid attachment shafts and can be freely raised or lowered; a locking piece which is formed projecting outward from the side of the lid which is positioned above the attachment shafts when the container member is covered by the lid; a concave interlocking portion, which covers the locking piece when the container member is covered with the lid, and which is formed to the attachment parts of the handle grip attached to the sides of the container member; openings formed in the attachment parts of the aforesaid grip handle, the openings communicating with the aforesaid interlocking portion and permitting free movement of the lock in the upward direction when the aforesaid grip handle is lowered on one side of the container member; and a bearing face which presses the locking piece down on the lid and presses the lid down on the mouth portion of the container member when said grip handle is placed in the upright position or is lowered to the other side of said container member.

Heat insulating cooking vessel

This invention relates to a method of making a double-walled thermally insulating metal container comprising an inner casing and an outer casing having an evacuation opening. A quantity of joining material is placed near or on the evacuation opening so as to cover the opening partially or completely. The assembly is treated in a vacuum furnace to evacuate the insulating space, to melt the joining material and to solidify the joining material in situ to provide vacuum sealing without resorting to a conventional sealing plate.
