In an anomaly detection apparatus mounted in a vehicle, a model storage stores a driving model which is set corresponding to a travel location of the vehicle traveling on a roadway and represents a normal driving state as the vehicle is traveling at the travel location. A data acquirer acquires driving performance data representing the driving state of the vehicle. A degree-of-anomaly calculator calculates a degree of anomaly in the driving state based on the driving model stored in the model storage and the driving performance data acquired by the data acquirer. A vehicle-mounted transmitter, if the degree of anomaly calculated by the degree-of-anomaly calculator exceeds an anomaly determination value for determining the presence of an anomaly in the driving state, transmits at least the degree of anomaly and the travel location corresponding to the degree of anomaly to a monitoring center located external to the vehicle and detects an anomaly in the road condition based on the degree of anomaly.

Road condition monitoring system

An in-vehicle communication system is disclosed. In the in-vehicle communication system, when a portable device has received a data request specifying a specific data from an in-vehicle apparatus, the portable device determines whether the portable device can receive the specific data from a center apparatus. When the portable device determines that the portable device cannot receive the specific data from the center apparatus and that the specific data is stored in a data storage area of the portable device, the portable device transmits the specific data stored in the data storage area to the in-vehicle apparatus.

In-vehicle communication system

Under a state where a vehicular navigation apparatus and a cellular phone connect a Bluetooth communication link, the cellular phone acquires position information that is detected by the vehicular navigation apparatus and transmits the position information to a server. The server determines a position of a user who is provided with a service based on the position information received from the cellular phone, and provides the service to the user of which the position is determined.

Service provision system

An in-vehicle communication system is disclosed. The in-vehicle communication system is configured to connect a short range wireless communication link between an in-vehicle apparatus and a portable device, and predicts a battery level threshold reach time, which is a time when a battery level of a battery of the portable device reaches below a threshold. When it is determined that the battery level threshold reach time is prior to a vehicle travel end time, the in-vehicle communication system notifies the passenger of prompt battery charge information to prompt the passenger to charge the battery of the portable device.

When there are data for which reception has been interrupted, a distribution request of remaining data of the interrupted reception is transmitted to a center () through a data updating unit (). A memory () of the center () stores the distribution request of the remaining data for which reception has been interrupted, which is transmitted from the navigation device (). A controller () extracts the remaining data from the memory () based on the distribution request stored in the memory (), and transmits the remaining data to the navigation device () through the data updating unit (). After energy such as fuel is refilled, the user does not need to wait until the completion of the data communication.

An information service system includes a contents service provider for providing contents data of a content together with an application software for providing an informational service intended by the content, a service center for collecting the contents data and the application software provided by the contents service provider, and terminals of plural kinds coupled with the service center through communication. The service center includes an information service control means for providing the informational service suitable for the kind of the terminal by executing the application software collected from the contents service provider, and the terminal uses the informational service provided by the service center.

Information service system

A music composition introduction system consists of a user's audio system and a center for managing music composition information, both of which communicate with each other. The audio system has a preference database storing user's preference data. The center receives this preference data, and retrieves music composition information meeting the preference data from a music composition information database. The center then sends music composition information data corresponding to the retrieved music composition information to the audio system. This structure of this system can effectively introduce to each user a music composition meeting the user's preference.

Music composition instruction system

An information processing system includes a management device mounted on a vehicle, and a terminal device outside the vehicle. The management device performs as follows: obtaining as identification information of a user a user ID and a password from the terminal device; selecting, based on the identification information obtained, a display target of items and device information to be preferentially displayed on a display device of the terminal display; collecting device information corresponding to the display target from devices (e.g., door ECU) in the vehicle; and generating system information storing information relating to the items selected and the device information collected. The management device then causes, by sending the system information generated to the terminal device, the terminal device to hierarchically display the display target in a tree form on the display device of the terminal device.
