A liquid storage container includes a casing including multiple recess portions at different portions, and multiple films welded to the casing to close recess portions. The recess portions constitute a liquid storage chamber, and flow path for liquid or air flow. The casing includes a first partition wall that defines a first recess portion among the recess portions and to which a first film is welded, and a second partition wall that defines a second recess portion among the recess portions and to which a second film is welded. A first dimension, which is a dimension of the first partition wall portion protruding toward the first film from a configuration coupled to the first partition wall, is greater than a second dimension, which is a dimension of the second partition wall portion protruding toward the second film from a configuration coupled to the second partition wall.

Liquid storage container and method of recycling liquid storage container

A plurality of liquid containers configured to be attached to the same liquid consuming apparatus in an exchangeable manner is provided. The liquid containers each include a housing that surrounds at least a part of a liquid containing chamber containing a liquid in the liquid container and is exposed to the outside of the liquid container. A first type liquid container of the plurality of liquid containers includes a rib that projects from an outer surface of the housing. A second type liquid container of the plurality of liquid containers does not include the rib.

An ink refill container for refilling a printer having an ink inlet flow-path member with ink includes: a container body portion configured to store ink; and an ink-outlet forming portion coupled to the container body portion and having a cylindrical portion forming an ink outlet. The ink-outlet forming portion includes a valve disposed in the cylindrical portion and configured to be opened by the ink inlet flow-path member inserted in the cylindrical portion, and closed by withdrawal of the ink inlet flow-path member from the cylindrical portion; a sealing member disposed at the ink outlet and configured to be in contact with the valve in a closed state of the valve; a holder member configured to hold at least one of the valve and the sealing member; and a fixing portion configured to fix the holder member to the cylindrical portion.

Ink refill container

An ink refilling container includes a bottle and a cap. The bottle includes an ink outlet forming portion including an ink outlet and a valve. The valve has valve segments segmented by slits. The cap includes a top portion, which faces the ink outlet when the cap is put on the bottle. A protruding portion extending in the central axis direction is provided at the center of the top portion. An annular-shaped sealing portion is provided on the top portion radially outside the protruding portion. The radius of the protruding portion is less than the length of the slit. In a sealed state wherein the cap is in thread engagement with the bottle and wherein the sealing portion seals the ink outlet, the tip end of the protruding portion is inserted in the inside of the bottle through the slits at the center region of the ink outlet.

The liquid container includes a housing member including an external circumferential wall surrounding a liquid storing chamber, an opening surrounded by an end portion of the external circumferential wall, and a closing wall opposing the liquid storing chamber at a position deep inside with respect to the opening, an external edge portion of the closing wall coupled to an end portion of the external circumferential wall, in which the liquid outlet portion is provided in the external circumferential wall; a valve provided in the liquid outlet portion, the valve being opened by having both a first pipe through which atmospheric air flows and a second pipe through which the liquid flows inserted therein when the liquid is made to flow out from the liquid storing chamber; a flexible wall sealing the opening portion; and an inner wall that extends from the closing wall towards an opening portion side in an area surrounded by the external circumferential wall and that is in contact with the flexible wall.
