A manufacturing method of a power storage device includes: an arrangement step of arranging a first resin member on a first surface of a metal foil and arranging a second resin member on a second surface of the metal foil; and a welding step of arranging a first pressurizing member and a second pressurizing member on a surface on an opposite side of the first resin member and the second resin member, respectively, from a surface on the metal foil side, and irradiating the end portion of the metal foil with an electromagnetic wave from the first pressurizing member side while pressurizing the end portion with the first pressurizing member and the second pressurizing member so as to weld the first resin member and the second resin member to the metal foil such that the end portion of the metal foil is covered.

The restraint mechanism includes: a first end plate portion disposed at an end portion in a first direction of the arrangement direction of the plurality of unit cells; a second end plate portion disposed at an end portion in a second direction of the arrangement direction of the plurality of unit cells; and a ring-shaped restraining hoop portion including a first support portion disposed on a surface of the first end plate portion in the first direction, a second support portion disposed on a surface of the second end plate portion in the second direction, and a pair of side wall portions continuously connecting the first support portion and the second support portion along the arrangement direction.

A technology capable of sealing a target with higher airtightness is provided. The plug attaching device disclosed herein is for attaching, to a through hole of a target, a cylindrical plug having therein a non-through hole that has an opening in one end surface. The device includes an insertion pin, and a guide portion. The guide portion is slidable in the axial direction of the insertion pin. This device is configured such that the plug is disposed inside the through hole, the insertion pin is pushed into the non-through hole with the guide portion disposed on the periphery of the opening to attach the plug into the through hole, and after the attachment, the insertion pin is moved in an opposite direction to the non-through hole to remove the insertion pin from the non-through hole, and the guide portion is then detached from the opening.

A manufacturing method of a laminated power storage device disclosed herein includes a step A of preparing an electrode body to which an electrode terminal is connected, a step B of preparing a laminated film, a step C of building a power storage device assembly in which the electrode body is covered with the laminated film and is sealed, and a step D of placing the power storage device assembly in a predetermined reduced-pressure atmosphere. The power storage device assembly has a welding portion in which the laminated films are stacked and welded together in a state in which part of the electrode terminal is protruded to the outside from between the laminated films around the electrode body. A pressure of the reduced-pressure atmosphere in the step D is set so as to guarantee that a weld strength of the welding portion is not less than a predetermined strength.

[SOLUTION MEANS] A method for producing a pouch battery that comprises a cell stack insertion step in which a cell stack is inserted in a laminate film exterior body, an outer perimeter edge sealing step in which the outer perimeter edges of the laminate film exterior body in which the cell stack has been inserted are sealed in an airtight chamber in a state of reduced pressure, a tensile force applying step in which tensile force is applied to the outer sides in the in-plane direction at two facing locations in the in-plane direction on the outer perimeter edges of the laminate film exterior body, and a tensile force-maintained air release step, in which application of tensile force to the outer sides of the laminate film exterior body in the in-plane direction is maintained while the pressure in the airtight chamber is raised to atmospheric pressure.

A battery mounting structure to enhance rigidity of a vehicle body without increasing a vehicle weight is provided. The battery mounting structure comprises a pair of frame members extending longitudinally and a battery pack an all-solid battery having a cell stack.
