A second terminal () of a second connector is provided with a first spring member () including a pair of first spring pieces () facing each other, and a second spring member () including a pair of second spring pieces () for sandwiching the pair of first spring pieces (). Male terminal including opening and projecting portion

In a terminal unit, a male terminal includes a columnar connecting portion having a tapered shape, and a female terminal includes a tubular connecting portion and a resilient member. A facing gap between a first peripheral wall portion and a second peripheral wall portion constituting the tubular connecting portion becomes gradually smaller in an inserting direction of the columnar connecting portion. The first or second peripheral wall portion, includes a contact point portion. With the columnar connecting portion and the tubular connecting portion concentrically arranged, a tip part of the columnar connecting portion is insertable into the tubular connecting portion without contacting the contact point portion, and a press-fit region to be press-fit to the contact point portion is provided on a part of the columnar connecting portion closer to the base end side than the tip part.

Terminal unit

A female terminal includes a tubular connecting portion including a first peripheral wall portion and a second peripheral wall portion and to be conductively connected to a columnar connecting portion, a pair of tip side plate portions projecting from circumferential end parts while being separated from each other, a resilient member for biasing the pair of tip side plate portions in directions approaching each other, and a stopper portion provided on a facing surface of the tip side plate portion. The stopper portion is provided at a position closer to the tubular connecting portion than a tip part of the tip side plate portion and limits displacements of the pair of tip side plate portions in the approaching directions. The pair of tip side plate portions and the first and second peripheral wall portions are separated and displaced against the biasing forces of the resilient member.

Female terminal

An electromagnetic shield connector is provided with a terminal-equipped shielded cable formed by mounting a terminal on an end of a shielded cable, an insulating inner housing including a first terminal fitting opening and a first wire insertion opening and configured to accommodate the terminal of the terminal-equipped shielded cable, a shield sleeve to be connected to a shield member of the shielded cable on the shielded cable and to be externally mounted on the shielded cable further on the side of the shielded cable than the terminal, an outer housing made of conductive metal, including a second terminal fitting opening and a second wire insertion opening, configured to accommodate the inner housing and to be connected to the shield sleeve, and a grounding portion provided on the outer housing and connectable to an external grounding member.

Electromagnetic shield connector

A female terminal is provided with a pair of connecting portions arranged to face each other across a male terminal insertion gap, a spring member held on the pair of connecting portions while sandwiching the pair of connecting portions and configured to bias the pair of connecting portions in mutually approaching directions along a facing direction, and a stopper protrusion projecting on at least one of the pair of connecting portions and configured to come into contact with the other of the pair of connecting portions to hold the male terminal insertion gap by restricting displacements of the pair of connecting portions in the approaching directions. Displacements in separating directions of the pair of connecting portions are allowed against a biasing force of the spring member, whereby a male terminal is press-fit into the male terminal insertion gap and disposed between the pair of connecting portions.

A female terminal includes a male terminal inserting tube portion constituting a connecting portion by an inner surface to be press-fit by a male terminal, a pair of overlapping plate portions connected to a pair of first divided portions of the male terminal inserting tube portion, separated from each other and projecting outward, and a clip having a coupling plate portion, a pair of sandwiching plate portions and an insertion opening between projecting end parts of the pair of sandwiching plate portions. The pair of overlapping plate portions press-fit between the pair of sandwiching plate portions through the insertion opening of the clip are biased to be overlapped each other between the pair of sandwiching plate portions by resilient restoring forces of the pair of sandwiching plate portions.

Male connector and connector device

A terminal module () has a metal case () with a ceiling wall (), a bottom wall () facing the ceiling wall (), opposed side walls () extending from the ceiling wall () toward the bottom wall () and retaining pieces (). A coil spring () is sandwiched between the ceiling wall () and the bottom wall (). The retaining pieces () face each other in a direction perpendicular to a facing direction of the side walls () and project toward the bottom wall () from the periphery of the ceiling wall (). The side walls () and the retaining pieces () are disposed alternately on the periphery of the ceiling wall (). A spring receiving portion () formed by the ceiling wall (), the side walls () and the retaining pieces () receives an end part of the coil spring () on the side of the ceiling wall ().

Terminal module

A terminal () of a connector () includes a case () and a first conductive member (). The first conductive member () includes a junction () for connection with a mating terminal. The junction () is movable in the compression direction (Y) in which the coil spring () is compressed. The case () is composed of metal and includes a front wall () bent at a front end (A) of the top wall () toward the first conductive member. The front wall () is at such a distance from the coil spring () that movement of the first conductive member () in the compression direction (Y) is not prevented. The front wall () includes a support () that supports one end () of the first conductive member on the front wall side, the one end () being movable in the compression direction (Y) at the support when the junction moves.

A female terminal, including: a female terminal fitting including a connector to be conductively connected to a male terminal; a facing member held on the female terminal fitting, the facing member being arranged to face the connector across a male terminal insertion gap into which the male terminal is inserted; a spring held on the female terminal fitting, the spring biasing at least one of the facing member and the connector toward the other; and an approach displacement restricting device that maintains the male terminal insertion gap by restricting a displacement in an approaching direction between the facing member and the connector.

A female terminal, including: a female terminal fitting including a connector to be conductively connected to a male terminal; a male terminal inserting tube provided in the female terminal fitting, the male terminal being press-fit into the male terminal inserting tube, the male terminal inserting tube forming the connector by an inner surface; a pair of overlapping plates connected to a pair of first divided portions provided by dividing the male terminal inserting tube over an entire length in an axial direction at one position in a circumferential direction, the pair of overlapping plates being separated from each other and projecting outward; and a spring held on the female terminal fitting, the spring holding the male terminal inserting tube in a reduced diameter state by biasing the pair of overlapping plates in a direction to overlap the pair of overlapping plates on each other.
