In a sieve, unit blocks are arrayed along an up-down direction and a left-right direction. Each unit block includes elongated holes and short holes that are shorter than the elongated holes. In each of the unit blocks, the elongated holes include a first elongated hole extending along a first length direction and a second elongated hole extending along a second length direction intersecting an extension line running along the first length direction. Plural of the short holes are arranged in each of the unit blocks so as to be arranged between long edges of adjacent elongated holes of the elongated holes.

To provide a probe card that is used when carrying out electrical inspection of a high-density fine circuit board to be measured. A probe card has plural probe pins, an insulator having plural through-holes through which the probe pins pass, and a pair of substrates that are positioned at both sides of the insulator and that have supporting holes into which end portions of the probe pins are inserted respectively. The pair of substrates and the insulator are provided so as to be slidable. One substrate is formed of a material having a same value as or an approximate value of a coefficient of thermal expansion of a fine circuit board to be measured, and another substrate is formed of a material having a same value as or an approximate value of a coefficient of thermal expansion of a wiring board for signal input/output. By doing so, even if the fine circuit board to be measured and the wiring board for signal input/output thermally expand, the probe pins can always be made to contact the respective electrodes of the fine circuit board to be measured and the wiring board for signal input/output, and the probe pins that are adjacent do not short circuit. Therefore, electrical inspection of a high-density fine circuit board to be measured can be carried out at one time, and furthermore, precisely.

The method of the present invention can 1) produce spherical and scaly ultrafine particles without pulverization, 2) obtain spherical ultrafine particles having a sharp spherical particle diameter distribution without requiring a sieving step, 3) produce spherical ultrafine particles extremely approximating a true circle and possessing a particle diameter of 100 nm&#x2dc;50,000 nm allowing selection of a size suitable for the particular purpose of use and 4) produce spherical ultrafine particles on a commercial scale at low cost. There is also provided spherical ultrafine particles produced by the above production process. The spherical ultrafine particles of the present invention are characterized by a form having circularity of 0.9 to 1.0 and a particle diameter of 0.01 &#x3bc;m to 10 &#x3bc;m without pulverization. The spherical ultrafine particles can be produced by the method of the present invention using as a nozzle a base having special through holes and hole density. In this base nozzle, the through holes have a diameter of 0.05 &#x3bc;m&#x2dc;50 &#x3bc;m, a through hole aspect ratio of 5 to 200 and a hole density of 100 to 7,000/cm.
