An object of the present invention is to provide an apparatus and a method for injecting assuredly a given amount of a coloring agent to an outer surface of an electric wire and coloring it. An apparatus for coloring an electric wireincludes coloring nozzles. The coloring nozzleseach has a solenoid valveto inject or stop injection of a coloring agent to an outer surfaceof an electric wire by opening or closing the solenoid valve. A spike voltage is applied to a coilof the solenoid valvewhen the coloring agent is injected. The spike voltage is a voltage applied to the coilwhich is necessary to open the solenoid valve. The spike voltage is applied to the coilto open the solenoid valveand stopped after a given period of time.

Apparatus for coloring electric wire and method thereof

A coloring apparatus for coloring an electric wire colors the wire spouts a liquid coloring agent, including a coloring material and a solvent, toward an outer surface of the wire with a specific amount thereof at a time. The coloring apparatus includes a coloring agent supply source for receiving the coloring agent, a coloring nozzle and a heater. The coloring nozzle spouts the coloring agent of the coloring agent supply source. The heater includes a heating bath and a hot air inlet. The heating bath receives the coloring nozzle. The heating bath allows the coloring nozzle to spout the coloring agent. The hot air inlet supplies hot air into the heating bath to heat the coloring agent supply source. The heater heats the coloring agent to a range lower than a boiling point of the solvent by the hot air inlet supplying the hot air into the heating bath.

Method and apparatus for coloring electric wire

A coloring apparatusincludes a coloring nozzlefor spouting a coloring material, a signal generator, and a controller. The coloring nozzleincludes an electromagnetic valve. The signal generatoroutputs signals for spouting the coloring material from the coloring nozzleto both a CPUof the controllerand a driving circuit. The CPUoutputs a signal for keeping the electromagnetic valveopen to the driving circuitwhen a frequency of the signals from the signal generatoris higher than a specific frequency. When at least one of the signals from the CPUand the signal generatoris inputted, the driving circuitapplies a spike voltage A and then applies a hold voltage B to a coil. While at least one of the signals from the CPUand the signal generatoris inputted, the driving circuitapplies a spike voltage A and then continuously applies a hold voltage B to a coil

Driving method of electromagnetic valve, electromagnetic valve driving unit and apparatus for coloring electric wire

The apparatus for coloring a wire includes a plurality of coloring nozzles, each of which spouts a liquid coloring agent toward an outer surface of a wire with a specific amount thereof per spouting so as to allow the liquid drop of the coloring agent to adhere to the outer surface of the wire, thereby coloring the wire. The coloring agent adheres on the outer surface of the wire so as to form a spot. Each coloring nozzle includes an insert member for receiving the coloring agent therein and a nozzle member that communicates with the insert member. The length of the nozzle member is different from each other. The apparatus selects one coloring nozzle from a plurality of the coloring nozzles in response to the size of the spot to be formed on the outer surface of the wire and spouts the coloring agent.
