A single-use cell culturing apparatus and a culturing bag are provided, each of which can improve efficiency of stirring a culture solution and further reduce a possibility of leakage of the culture solution. The single-use cell culturing apparatus of the present invention includes a housing that accommodates the culturing bag which is flexible and can seal the culture solution inside thereof. The housing has, on an inner surface thereof, a curved convex-shaped protrusion provided at a portion of a contact face at which the housing is in contact with the culturing bag. The culturing bag of the present invention is accommodated in the housing of the single-use cell culturing apparatus; is flexible; and can seal the culture solution inside thereof. The culturing bag includes a concave portion having a shape corresponding to the curved convex protrusion disposed on a part of the housing.

Single-use cell culturing apparatus and culturing bag

An object of the present invention is to separate a material to be separated at a low cost and constant accuracy when the material to be separated is separated from a mobile phase containing the material to be separated through the passing of the mobile phase through a stationary phase, even if the mobile phase has a large volume. A separation device characterized in that a separation column provided with a stationary phase having a volume capable of processing the entire volume of a mobile phase containing a material to be separated is provided, the separation column is replaceable, and the usage count of the stationary phase reaches a lifetime count through the processing of one batch.

Separation device and separation method

A cell culture apparatus is provided which can continuously and accurately measure turbidity of a cell culture solution and culture a cell, without inserting a turbidity sensor from outside into a sterile bag. The cell culture apparatus includes: a flexible and transparent sterile bag that is installed at a prescribed position in the cell culture apparatus and in which a cell contained in a cell culture solution is cultured; and a turbidity sensor that includes a light emitter which emits light to the cell culture solution in the sterile bag via a portion of the sterile bag, a light receiver which receives the light transmitted through the cell culture solution via another portion of the sterile bag, and that is configured to place the light emitter, the portion of the sterile bag, another portion of the sterile bag, and the light receiver, optically on a same straight line.

Cell culture apparatus and cell culture method

An inverted microscope is adapted so that a specimen thereon e.g. cells can be irradiated by a laser beam. The laser beam is guided from a laser source by a series of adjustably movable reflectors which introduce it into the microscope optical pathway at a parallel-beam region thereof, and through the objective lens of the microscope. A point to be irradiated can be selected by moving the reflectors which may be galvanometrically-movable. The laser beam can be focused together with the microscope image. The movable reflectors are kept within 200 mm behind the objective lens principal plane (PP) to ensure that the laser can be applied all over the microscope viewing field.
