Disclosed is an electronic device including a display; a rear plate including a conductive material; a side member including a conductive material and disposed to surround a space between the display and the rear plate; a printed circuit board disposed between the display and the rear plate; an antenna pattern at least partially disposed between the printed circuit board and the rear plate and at a position corresponding to a slit between the rear plate and the side member; and a communication module which generates a communication signal transmitted to a power feeding unit. A portion of the antenna pattern may be electrically connected to the power feeding unit. Another portion of the antenna pattern may be electrically connected to a ground region of the printed circuit board. The power feeding unit may be connected to a portion of the side member. Various other embodiments are possible.

An electronic device includes a side surface member, a wireless communication circuit, and a switch circuit. The side surface member includes a first conductive portion coupled to the wireless communication circuit and the switch circuit, a second conductive portion coupled to the switch circuit, and a first non-conductive portion disposed between the first conductive portion and the second conductive portion. The switch circuit is controlled to be in at least one of a first state, a second state, and a third state, based on a first frequency of a first operating signal supplied by the wireless communication circuit. The switch circuit is configured to couple the second conductive portion to the wireless communication circuit, in the first state, and to couple the second conductive portion to the first conductive portion, in the second state.

Method and apparatus for controlling beam adaptively in wireless communication system

An electronic device includes a housing including a front plate and a rear plate disposed opposite the front plate, and a display disposed in a space between the front plate and the rear plate, and disposed at least partially along the front plate. The electronic device further includes a first antenna structure disposed in the space and configured to transmit or receive a first signal in a first frequency band, wherein the first antenna structure includes at least one first conductive pattern.
