The invention relates to thermoplastic molding compounds having melt viscosities of less than 30,000 mPas for use as a hot-melt adhesive, comprising the components A and B, wherein component A comprises one or more C/Ccopolymers each produced with metallocene catalysts and each having a melt viscosity at 170&#xb0; C. of less than 20,000 mPas, measured according to DIN 53019, and a molecular weight Mof 1000 g/mol to 50,000 g/mol, and component B comprises one or more C/Ccopolymers each produced with metallocene catalysts and each having a melt flow index MI of 1 to 100 g/m in, measured at 190&#xb0; C./2.16 kg, according to ASTM D 1238, and a molecular weight Mof 50,000 g/mol to 300,000 g/mol. Said thermoplastic molding compounds, because of the viscosity and mechanical properties thereof, are suitable for fiber mesh applications.

Thermoplastic molding compounds

The invention relates to a printing ink system containing glycosidic polymers and polyolefin- and/or Fischer-Tropsch-waxes and/or amide waxes and/or bio-based waxes and optionally pigments, binders and/or solvents. The glycosidic polymer has a specific surface area according to BET from a minimum 0.45 m2/g and a particle size distribution having an uniformity coefficient (D60/D10) to a maximum of 3.5.

Finely distributed copolymer waxes, which are in particular suitable as additives for lacquers, produced by a) reacting long-chained olefin hydrocarbons with chain lengths being greater than or equal to 28 C-atoms with unsaturated polycarboxylic acids or the anhydrides thereof in the presence of at least one radical initiator and b) subsequent micronization by milling or spraying, characterized in that the particles of the milled or sprayed copolymer waxes are less than 50 &#x3bc;m, preferably less than 40 &#x3bc;m, particularly preferably less than 30 &#x3bc;m 98 to 99 are preferred, 5% of the particles, in particular 99.5 to 100% of the particles less than 50 &#x3bc;m, preferably less than 40 &#x3bc;m, particularly preferably less than 30 &#x3bc;m.

Usage of copolymerisates as additives for lacquers

The invention relates to a hot-melt adhesive substance for sticking together fibrous materials such as matted nonwovens or woven textiles with smooth substrate surfaces, such as plastic or metal films, and for laminating said materials. Said substance is characterized in that it contains at least one polyolefin which has been produced by polymerization in the presence of metallocene as a catalyst and has a ring/ball softening point of between 50 and 165&#xb0; C. and a melting viscosity, measured at a temperature of 170&#xb0; C., of between 20 and 40,000 mPa-s. The hot-melt adhesive substance can also contain at least one adhesive component and is used in a quantity of between 3 and 6 g/m, preferably between 4 and 5.5 g/m, for sticking a film to a nonwoven material during the production of hygiene items such as disposable nappies, baby nappies, incontinence products, panty liners and/or sanitary towels.

The invention relates to hot melt compositions comprising polyolefin waxes prepared using metallocene catalysts, have a dropping point or ring & ball softening point of between 80 and 165&#xb0; C., have a melt viscosity, measured at a temperature of 170&#xb0; C., of between 20 and 40 000 mPa&#xb7;s, and have a glass transition temperature of not more than &#x2212;10&#xb0; C. and also to their use as hot melt adhesives and as binders for producing roadmarkings.
