The invention concerns a discharge valve () intended to be fitted in a discharge duct of an apparatus designed to be driven by a fluid, in particular a turbocharger driven by the exhaust gases from an engine. The discharge valve () comprises a cavity () having a first (), a second () and a third aperture (), each intended to be connected to a respective duct, the discharge valve () also comprising first () and second () means for closing the first () and second () apertures, respectively, in order to control communication between the ducts.

The valve includes a first shutter for regulating the airflow rate, a second shutter for regulating the recirculated exhaust gas flow rate, a single motor for driving the two shutters, and gearing connecting the motor to at least one shutter. The invention relates to a method for controlling an exhaust gas recirculation circuit () for an internal combustion engine (M) of a motor vehicle. The engine (M) is linked to an air intake circuit () and to a gas exhaust circuit () linked to the air intake circuit () by the recirculation circuit (). A first valve () controls the flow of air upstream from the recirculation circuit (), and gases that are recirculated within the a second valve () controls the flow of exhaust recirculation circuit (). In the method of the invention, the recirculation of the exhaust gases is in particular controlled by means of measuring a pressure difference across the terminals of the second valve (). The method comprises the following steps: a) the first and second valves () are closed, the first valve () being arranged so as to allow, in a closed position, the passage of an air leak current; b) the first and second valves () are concomitantly opened so as to provide a sufficient pressure difference across the terminals of the second valve () so as to enable the measurement of the pressure difference in the terminals thereof. Due to the invention, the pressure difference across the terminals of the second valve () remains sufficiently high so as to allow the efficient measurement of said pressure difference.

The invention relates to a method for managing an exhaust gas recirculation circuit of a petrol thermal engine, the engine including at least one combustion chamber connected to an inlet line and an exhaust line between which extends said recirculation circuit, the recirculation circuit including a flow-rate adjustment valve, wherein said method comprises the step of adjusting flow-rate adjustment valve based on a flow-rate setpoint, said method further comprising the steps of: detecting an operation parameter representative of a pressure difference between an upstream pressure and a downstream pressure relative to the flow-rate adjustment valve, and, after comparing the parameter with a threshold corresponding to a minimum pressure difference, adjusting the flow-rate in at least one of the lines in order to increase the pressure difference.

The invention relates to an internal combustion heat engine, with at least one combustion chamber for intake gases comprising a mixture consisting of a fuel such as petrol and an oxidizer such as air, connected to an intake circuit (A) for the intake of said intake gases into the chamber and an exhaust circuit (B) for the exhaust of the burnt gases outside the chamber, an exhaust gas recirculation circuit (C, D) connecting the exhaust circuit to the intake circuit, and a control system for the exhaust gas recirculation. The control system is arranged so that the exhaust gas recirculation is implemented for at least one operation point defined by an engine speed and a torque output by the engine, for which the output torque is higher than 50% of the maximum engine torque. The invention can be used for operating the engine with optimal stoichiometric mixture and ignition advance without the occurrence of rattling.

The present invention relates to a method of controlling the intake of an internal-combustion engine comprising at least two groups () of at least one cylinder (C-C) wherein a feed is admitted for operation of said engine, and an exhaust line () comprising at least one exhaust gas depollution means ().
