A spindle drive tool for adjusting a position of a head of a spindle relative to a piston of an electro-mechanical automatic lubrication system in which the spindle and piston are connected by complementary screw threads includes a mounting portion and a coupling portion connected to the mounting portion. The mounting portion includes a bearing surface having a spindle head inlet at a first end, a first cavity and a second cavity. The spindle head inlet opens into the first cavity, the first cavity has a cross section configured to couple with the spindle head such that the spindle head cannot rotate relative to the mounting portion while in the first cavity, and the second cavity is coaxially with the first cavity and has a larger cross section than the first cavity such that the spindle head can rotate freely in the second cavity.

A lubricant fitting unit is for supplying lubricant to an item of equipment and includes a housing connectable with the item of equipment and providing a lubricant flow path fluidly coupleable with the item of equipment. A lubricant flowmeter is connected to the lubricant flow path and measures lubricant flow through the flow path. The fitting unit preferably includes an integrated condition monitoring system coupled to the housing, which preferably includes a temperature sensor and/or a vibration sensor. Further, the fitting unit also preferably includes a wireless data transmission device for transmitting signals received from the integrated condition monitoring system to a controller device. Also, the fitting unit may include an energy harvester mounted within the lubricant flow path for converting a portion of the kinematic energy of the lubricant flowing through the lubricant flow path into power for recharging a power unit of the monitoring device.

An induction heating device comprising at least one induction coil mounted to a support frame. The support frame is adapted to travel on a surface of an annular metal article to be heated and comprises a wheel set having one or more driven wheels. The support frame is adapted to travel on a side face of the annular metal article and is provided with first guide and second guide elements, which are respectively configured to engage with an outer circumferential surface and an inner circumferential surface of the annular metal article to ensure that the support frame travels on a circular path during use of the device.

A kit for testing grease includes components for testing consistency, oil bleed characteristic and contamination. Consistency of the grease is tested by compressing a sample of the grease between two surfaces (e.g., glass plates), measuring the extent of spread, and comparing the measured spread to a calibrated reference. Oil bleed characteristic is tested by placing a quantity of the used grease on a test medium, heating the test sample, measuring a dimension of the grease quantity on the heated test sample, and determining the bleed characteristic of the used grease by comparing the dimension of the grease quantity to a reference. A contamination test may be performed by further compressing the consistency sample and inspecting the sample both by the naked eye and with a microscope.
