A method for manufacturing a hollow glass is provided. The method includes the steps of placing at least one drop of glass in a cavity of a mold, inserting a punch into the cavity of the mold, forming the hollow glass item by using the punch and simultaneously imprinting at least one raised or hollow pattern at a chosen location on an inner surface of at least one wall of the hollow glass item, thereby superimposing the at least one raised or hollow pattern on the shape of the hollow glass item, removing the punch from the cavity of the mold and stripping the hollow glass item, which includes the at least one inner raised and/or hollow pattern. The punch has a body with an end portion, the end portion has an outer side surface. The body includes a raised or hollow pattern on the outer side surface of the end portion. The raised or hollow pattern is independent of the shape of the hollow glass item. A device for manufacturing a hollow glass item is also provided.

Method and device for manufacturing a hollow glass item

A device for manufacturing a hollow glass item is provided. The device includes a mold having a cavity with a shape substantially corresponding to the outer shape of the glass item and a punch movable between a passive position outside the cavity and an active position inside the cavity, the punch including a hollow body having at least one raised or hollow pattern on at least one outer surface. A method and a punch are also provided.

The manufacturing device comprises at least one mold () and a punch () displaceable between a passive position outside said at least one mold () and an active position inside said at least one mold (). The punch () includes at least one marking portion () provided with at least one raised and/or recessed pattern () and radially displaceable by actuation means () into the active position of the punch (), between a retracted position and a protruding position applied against the internal face () of the side wall () for imprinting on this internal face () said at least one raised and/or recessed pattern.

Device and methods for manufacturing a hollow glass article

The invention relates to a device for marking the inside of a hollow glass item having at least one plunger comprising at least one raised and/or hollow pattern and a support assembly for said at least one plunger that can be moved between a first position in which the plunger is outside the item, and a second position in which the plunger is inside the item, and having radial movement means for moving said at least one plunger in a passive position spaced away from the inner surface of the side wall of the item and an active position pressed against said inner surface to imprint said at least one raised and/or hollow pattern.
