A telescoping fluid coupling () is provided for use with a fluid flow device () and includes a coupling body () having a fluid port () extending along a longitudinal axis (). A retainer () is fixed to the body () and includes a retaining shoulder (). A flange () is mounted to the fluid port () and includes a radially inwardly facing guide surface () that surrounds a mount surface () and extends longitudinally along the axis () to provide guided, sliding translation of the guide surface () relative to the mount surface () along the axis (). The flange () further includes a stop shoulder () to engage the retaining shoulder () to limit the translation of the flange () along the axis ().

Telescoping meter flange

A meter connector connecting a flow meter to a fluid line, including a meter bar with a spherical central void and fluid passages between the void and meter inlet and outlet ports and service inlet and outlet ports. A spherical valve is rotatable within the void to selectively block openings into the void and open openings into the void to selectively connect fluid passages via passages in the valve whereby rotation of the valve moves between a metering position, a bypass position, and a shutoff position.

Single-valve bypass meter bar and metering system

A coupling () is provided to create a connection between two tubes () and includes a first coupling body () having an externally threaded end (), and a second coupling body () has an internally threaded end () operably engaged with the externally threaded end (). A first deformable ring () is located in the first coupling body (). A second deformable ring () is located in the second coupling body (). A sleeve () is located in the first and second coupling bodies () extending between the first and second deformable rings (). The coupling () has a free condition wherein tubes () can be inserted into the coupling (), and a connecting condition wherein the first and second deformable rings () are engaged with the sleeve () and the first and second coupling bodies () to be deformed into engagement with any tubes () that have been inserted into the coupling ().
